Rumor: EuroGamer sources say this year’s game is Call of Duty: Black Ops 4
There have been many rumors in the past few days regarding the 2018 Call of Duty title…today a new source has chimed in on the recent rumors: EuroGamer.
EuroGamer says their sources tell them this year’s Call of Duty game will in fact be Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. EuroGamer says they have heard this information from ‘multiple sources.’
The Black Ops 4 rumor began earlier this week when a Nintendo industry reporter tweeted out that the game is Black Ops 4 and is coming to Switch, alongside PS4/X1/PC. The reporter also claimed that this year’s game will be a modern-themed game and boots on the ground. EuroGamer did not elaborate on the setting of the game and said they were not able to confirm if the game is coming to Switch.
COD 2018 is Black Ops 4 and is coming to PS4/Xbox/PC/Switch. It is set in the modern times and is boots on the ground. The Switch version will support DLC, HD Rumble and motion controls. The Switch version is also being ported by a company which is familar with COD games.

Some of the information being reported does not match up with what we have been hearing, but never the less, stay tuned for the latest information regarding Call of Duty 2018. We don’t expect any big news to drop on the game from Activision anytime soon, as usual Call of Duty reveals are in April-May time frame.
