In addition to equipping yourself with meta weapons to dominate in Warzone, Lethal Equipment can also be key to having an advantage over enemies. These pieces can help you in critical moments like mid-fight or match endings.

That is why choosing the best pieces is critical, and given the game has a wide variety of options that players can choose from, the latest updates’ nerfs and buffs altered the most popular picks, bringing new options to the table.

Among them is the Thermite, which can be extremely useful providing several advantages compared to the always reliable Throwing Knifes or recently nerfed C4.

For starters, the grenade can be thrown quite far, which combined with its sticky and incendiary effect, can reduce enemies’ health and vision. Additionally, Thermites are excellent Riot Shields counters, allowing you to damage players by simply throwing the grenade on their location in the ground.

Another underrated effect, highlighted by WhosImmortal in their July 10 video, is the ability to locate enemies by throwing the item in their general vicinity. Running near its incendiary effect reveals enemy positions, functioning somewhat like a Snapshot Tactical.

This enables its effect to not only damage the enemy in the area but also delay or hinder any teammate attempting to enter the affected zone to rescue them.

While the Thermite’s use may be more tactical compared to the C4, it has become a popular option following the C4’s nerf in Season 4 Reloaded. The nerf included a reduction in the max damage (from 275 to 200), outer damage (from 137 to 100), and max radius (from 7 to 6.5 meters).

Now that you know the power of Thermites, be sure to adjust your loadouts along with your controller and audio settings to outdo your opponents in the battle royale.
