Slept on Warzone Pistol rivals meta FJX Horus with rapid close-range TTK

Warzone has a massive weapon roster, boasting a ton of picks including slept-on like Pistols which can often rival the close-range meta. Following the buffs and nerfs introduced with each seasonal update, players often look for the ideal guns destined to dominate the game.

The WSP Stinger might not be a favorite but it usually reappears in the close-range meta thanks to its Akimbo attachment, providing it the fastest Warzone close-range TTK with a value of 480ms.

As a comparison, the FJX Horus, currently the game’s meta SMG as of Season 4 Reloaded, holds a 610ms TTK which is higher than the WSP Stinger Akimbo. However, to achieve the maximum potential of the latter, the key is to maintain proximity with the enemy and equip the best loadout.

In his July 13 video, popular content creator JoeWo also shared the “broken” WSP Stinger Pistols highlighting its “fastest time-to-kill up close” and explaining the need to “use it like a Shotgun” playing the tight angles and corners.

To kick off, you’ll need to equip the Akimbo WSP Stinger Rear Grip. To reduce the hipfire spread and be able to hit the enemies easily, we’ll equip the XTEN Sidearm-L400 Laser and S-37C DL Breacher Device S Muzzle combo.

Then, the HISS Short Light Barrel will noticeably improve bullet velocity and range, extending your blistering TTK. Lastly, the 32 Round Mag will provide enough bullets to avoid running out given the gun’s rapid fire rate.

With this loadout, you can maintain a 600ms TTK up to almost 25 meters. Keep in mind that to achieve this, you’ll need perfect precision, given the extensive spread when using the Pistol in Akimbo.
