Surprising MW2 rifle dominates MW3 with “nuts” TTK

Despite MW3 introducing brand-new weapons, Call of Duty stats expert TrueGameData claims a MW2 rifle is dominating the TTK charts.

Modern Warfare 3 has brought 37 new weapons for players to sink their teeth into, from Assault Rifles and SMGs to Marksman Rifles and Snipers, there’s a huge range of choice when it comes guns and melee weapons.

As well as all the new MW3 weapons, the game also includes MW2’s arsenal. While these weapons aren’t new, and so aren’t as popular, Call of Duty stats expert TrueGameData has discovered that one of the previous game’s rifles actually has a “nuts” TTK.

The weapon in question is the M13B, an Assault Rifle from MW2 that became popular thanks to its fast fire rate and low recoil, which made it a laser beam for mid-to-long ranges, while also being fairly competitive up close.

In TrueGameData’s November 15 YouTube video, the stats expert broke down the “best ARs in MW3,” using detailed stats comparisons for the most competitive ARs across MW2 and MW3. The M13B came out with one of the best TTKs thanks to its “really long damage range” and a reliable damage profile.

TrueGameData said, “In my opinion, the M13B is the gun to beat…it’s a top tier weapon.” Luckily, they also shared their best loadout for the AR, so for those trying to take advantage of this weapon in MW3, here are TrueGameData’s recommended attachments for the weapon.

TrueGameData’s MW3 M13B loadout

  • Muzzle: Shadowstrike Suppressor
  • Underbarrel: XRX Edge BW-4 Handstop
  • Rear Grip: D37 Grip
  • Laser: 1MW Artemis Laser
  • Optic: Mk. 3 Reflector

First off, TrueGameData kicks off this MW3 M13B loadout with the Shadowstrike Suppressor, which keeps you hidden on the radar while firing without any cons. The 1MW Artemis Laser is perfect for added stability, which is essential if you plan on using the M13B at longer ranges.

Next, the XRX Edge BW-4 Handstop provides a nice bit of mobility with increased movement and ADS speed, while the D37 Grip improves the recoil control even more, making it incredibly accurate.

Finally, the Mk. 3 Reflector optic is one of the best and cleanest sights in MW3, as it provides a nice singular dot with a clear view.

Well, there you have it, that was TrueGameData’s best M13B loadout for MW3. If you’re interested in more guides, check out:
