Surprising Warzone rifle dominates long-range fights with “phenomenal” TTK
ActivisionWarzone’s new Urzikstan map is full of wide open spaces and vantage points that are ideal for picking off enemies, and CoD expert WhosImmortal has revealed the underrated rifle with a blistering TTK to help you dominate long-range fights.
The Warzone Season 1 shook up the meta in several interesting ways, partly due to the new Urzikstan map, but also thanks to the arrival of guns from Modern Warfare 3. With so many new weapons in the mix, players have been hard at work figuring out which are the best in the game.
One of the most important factors to consider when putting together a loadout is its time-to-kill (TTK), which shows how quickly it can drop an enemy. Close-range SMGs like the Striker usually have the upper hand in this stat, but there are plenty of fast-killing weapons at long range too.
Warzone expert WhosImmortal broke down the weapons with the fastest TTK in his December 20 video, and a surprising pick was included. He explained that the MCW 6.8 Marksman Rifle has 811ms TTK at around 53 meters, ranking it higher than meta options like the Bruen Mk9.
Despite this, the rifle is still the lowest-placed gun in its category according to WZ Ranked. However, this didn’t stop WhosImmortal from comparing the MCW 6.8 to some of Warzone’s most popular weapons.
“If you were previously the [MTZ] Interceptor or you’re good with semi-auto guns, this is a phenomenal choice,” said the YouTuber. “This one’s got a better fire rate cap, so you can really spam this thing, sort of FAL-like from MW 2019.”
Check out WhosImmortal’s best MCW 6.8 loadout in Warzone Season 1 below.
WhosImmortal’s best MCW 6.8 loadout in Warzone
- Muzzle: VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor
- Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
- Optic: Corio Eagleseye 2.5x
- Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
- Magazine: 30 Round Mag
WhosImmortal started his best MCW 6.8 loadout in Warzone with the VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor to keep its shots hidden from the radar, while the FTAC Ripper 56 keeps the recoil in check. He felt that 30 Round Mags were enough on the Marksman Rifle, given how quickly it kills.
Next, he went for the FSS OLE-V Laser for improved ADS speeds, ensuring players can always land the first shot. He rounded out the build with the Corio Eagleseye 2.5x, a clean Optic that offers extra zoom and accuracy.
With this setup, WhosImmortal claimed the MCW 6.8 is perfect for long-range engagements in Warzone Season 1, especially if the MTZ Interceptor nerf hit you hard.
