Treyarch to unlock characters in Black Ops 4 Blackout Beta throughout the week
Treyarch’s Studio Design Director David Vonderhaar was playing Black Ops 4 Blackout beta with popular streamer Shroud today. Shroud is one of the bigger PUBG streamers, but today went online in the Blackout beta in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.
At one point during the stream, it was asked which characters can be used, and Shroud said they were all locked right now. Vahn responded saying they plan to unlock different characters on different days throughout the Blackout beta period. “They’ll unlock on different days for fun.”
In the actual game at launch, the characters will have to be unlocked through missions and quests in Blackout. Treyarch explained the process during a live stream last week and provided some info in GameInformer, which can be read here.
The Black Ops 4 Blackout Beta is live on PS4 now through Sept. 17. Stay tuned for which characters will be unlocked.
