Underused Warzone rifle has broken TTK with one simple change

There are many great rifle options in Warzone, but not many top this slept-on gun that actually has an insane TTK so long as you make a simple change.

The Sidewinder was widely considered the worst rifle in Warzone since MW3 integrated with the battle royale, but, thanks to various balance changes, it’s become a much more viable pick.

It has a top TTK in Season 4 Reloaded, but there’s a simple change you’ll need to make to get the most out of it, which is using it in single-fire mode instead of full auto.

Using a semi-automatic build for the Sidewinder gives the Battle Rifle a much faster TTK, so long as you have a fast and accurate trigger finger. If you can control the Sidewinder and hit consistent shots in the semi-auto mode, you’ll have no problem getting a fast time to kill.

It actually beats options like the BP50, MTZ-556, and Holger 26 in close, medium, and long ranges, you just have to be able to spam the trigger while maintaining your accuracy.

WhosImmortal, a popular Call of Duty content creator known for highlighting the best weapons each season, highlighted the Sidewinder in his July 14 YouTube video, placing it in the top five most broken loadouts for S4R.

WhoImmortal described the semi-automatic Sidewinder’s TTK as “absolutely broken,” calling it “one of the best in the game.” He goes on to say that there aren’t many weapons that can beat the Sidewinder in a one-on-one so long as you are accurate and can fire the gun fast.
