Vonderhaar hints that a possible “War-Like” game mode is coming

In David Vonderhaar’s recent AMA, he discussed about adding new game modes to Black Ops 2. He confirmed that new game modes will be added, but he will not say exactly which modes.

When asked about “War” game mode, he responded,“[We have] no plans to bring back War at this time. Never say never. Here is a hint. We have a very War like mode, that isn’t exactly War, that I would love to tell you about, but I can’t because … dragged away by PR.”

Treyarch is testing a few new game modes for Black Ops 2, but is not sure which mode will work out. Vahn said he’ll provide more information when he can.
