Following the release of Season 3, the Renetti took over the Warzone close-range meta. Luckily, the devs officially confirmed the Pistol is set to receive changes.

Warzone Season 3 brought plenty of changes to the game’s best weapons, introducing the Renetti SMG-hybrid build as the top choice for most players to dominate the short ranges which quickly flooded the matches and led players to beg the devs to nerf it.

Despite the Warzone receiving an update on April 9 including bug fixes and several weapon changes, players noticed that the Renetti wasn’t included in the weapon balancing section. However, Raven Software confirmed that the Renetti will be nerfed in the “near future,” in a separate X post.

Unfortunately for many, the dev team didn’t share any exact date for when the next update including the Renetti nerf will be released. We’ll be sure to keep you informed if any new information is shared about this.

Although dominating metas aren’t new in Warzone, the weapon has become the main threat to players at close range due to the huge improvement that the JAK Ferocity Carbine Conversion Kit Aftermarket Part grants to the Renetti Hnagun.

For players waiting for its dominance to end with the April 9 update, they will have to wait a little longer to see this blistering Pistol-SMG hybrid get nerfed.
