Warzone expert brings DMR to Urzikstan with “broken” rifle build

The DMR is one of the most notorious weapons in Warzone history, thanks to laser accuracy and rapid TTK at long-range. Now, CoD expert JoeWo has brought it back in Season 1 with a “broken” rifle loadout.

Warzone Season 1 is in full swing and the community is busy picking out the meta weapons, after the full slate of MW3 guns arrived in the battle royale. The likes of the BAS-B and WSP Swarm have dominated matches so far, while the return of one-shot Snipers has led to a hotly-contested long-range meta.

The MTZ Interceptor Marksman Rifle has also become a surprise favorite, capable of taking down a fully-plated enemy with just a few well-placed shots.

However, Warzone expert JoeWo has revealed another Marksman Rifle that he claims is even better, comparing its “absurd” TTK to the notorious DMR.

The weapon in question is the DM56, which the YouTuber built to resemble the DMR after encountering several enemies running it, as he explained in his December 13 video.

“I died so fast to this mystery gun in Warzone that I had to make a build and try it out for myself,” said JoeWo. “I’m not sure if you guys remember the DMR from the Verdansk days, but let’s just say I built it like that and it is absolutely broken.”

He also shared his best DM56 loadout for Warzone, which you can check out below.

JoeWo’s best “DMR” loadout in Warzone

• Muzzle: Sonic Suppressor
• Barrel: Prime Lord Heavy Barrel
• Optic: VLK 4.0 Optic
• Magazine: 40 Round Mag
• Ammunition: 5.56 Nato High Grain Rounds

This combination of attachments improves the DM56’s range and improves its recoil, allowing it to down an enemy with just a few headshots in Warzone. Even if you miss a couple of shots, it can still knock a fully-plated player with three or four body shots.

JoeWo described the rifle as an “absolute laserbeam” and urged players to give it a try in their next Warzone Season 1 match.
