Warzone expert JGOD reveals buffed “no recoil” LMG loadout you need to try
ActivisionThe Warzone February 13 update introduced a handful of weapon balancing changes, and CoD expert JGOD has revealed that one buffed LMG feels like a “new gun” after the patch.
The Warzone devs are constantly trying to keep the meta fresh by introducing new weapons and balancing changes. This could be seen in the Season 2 update, which brought the BP50 and RAM-9, alongside a host of buffs and nerfs.
They didn’t stop there, however, as the February 13 patch followed shortly after, coming with a few more tweaks to shake up the power rankings.
One of the weapons given the most love was the TAQ Evolvere and Warzone expert JGOD has sung the LMG‘s praises since the update, where it was handed major buffs across the board.
“I think the Base TAQ Evolver has to be the most consistent low recoil gun there has ever been in Warzone,” he said in an X (formerly Twitter) post, along with a clip demonstrating just how easy the LMG is to use.
The video showed the Evolvere emptying a full 100 Round Mag into a wall without adjusting, but the virtually non-existent recoil meant that it hardly moved from its starting position. Check out JGOD’s best TAQ Evolvere loadout for Warzone Season 2 below.
JGOD’s “no recoil” TAQ Evolvere loadout in Warzone
- Muzzle: Husher-65 Silencer
- Underbarrel: Kimura RYN-03 Vertical Grip
- Optic: Corio Eagleseye 2.5x
- Stock: SA Kilonova Stock
- Ammunition: 7.62x51mm High Grain
Fellow Warzone content creator TrueGameData responded to the clip, also praising the TAQ Evolvere since the update.
“I love when I can put zero recoil in the title and not be clickbaiting,” he said, before JGOD responded: “Yes one of the Rare Occasions, problem is people do it so often, that people won’t believe this actually has no recoil LOL.”
Other comments asked JGOD whether the LMG was worth a spin following this latest buff and he was adamant that it was, claiming it feels like a “new gun.”
“It was awful, not even worth using. After season 2 it became okay and pretty viable,” the streamer explained. “Today they did a complete rework on Damage, Recoil, and RoF that made the base version a Meta Contender and the 556 both a Gimmick SMG and viable sniper support.”
The SVA 545 has been the go-to long-range weapon in Warzone Season 2, but JGOD feels that the TAQ Evolvere could easily give it a run for its money. Don’t be surprised to see it become one of the game’s most popular guns as we head towards the mid-season update.
