Warzone expert reveals “cheat code” Sniper scope to dominate The Haunting event

Warzone’s The Haunting Halloween event has given Al Mazrah a spooky overhaul, and CoD guru Sally is a Dog has revealed the “cheat code” Sniper scope that can give players the upper hand.

The Haunting Halloween event is well underway in Warzone and the community is loving it so far. Fans have been treated to a host of themed rewards and iconic horror skins to unlock, as well as a few jump scares thrown in for good measure.

Al Mazrah has also received a creepy overhaul, with the usually bright map being plunged into darkness. While many players have welcomed the new nighttime version of the map, it’s no doubt had an effect on visibility, especially for those who like to pick off enemies for a distance.

Luckily, Warzone expert Sally is a Dog has shared the Sniper scope that could solve players’ problems and make sniping viable again during The Haunting.

In an upload to his channel, the YouTuber explained that the SZ Heatsource 800 “basically feels like a cheat code” in Warzone thanks to its thermal imaging. This allows players to clearly spot enemies at long range by picking up their heat source.

He compared this scope with the Schlager Nightview, which acts as a night vision optic to help you see in the dog, but he ultimately felt that the SZ Heatsource 800 was better equipped to deal with the new-look map.

Sally is a Dog showed the scope in action during a match and the advantages were clear to see. Rival players that would have blended into the background with a regular Sniper sight stood out clearly from hundreds of meters away.

This allowed him to land shots that might have been impossible otherwise, before going on to win the game.

The only drawback Sally highlighted is that it’s possible not all players will have the SZ Heatsource 800 unlocked, as it’s earned by getting the TAQ-M, a lesser-used Battle Rifle, up to Level 25. However, if you’re a multiplayer fan who has levelled up every weapon, consider equipping it in your next Warzone match.
