Warzone expert Swagg claims iconic SMG absolutely ‘fries’ again
ActivisionWhile most Warzone players tend to stick to the newer MW3 guns, CoD expert FaZe Swagg has revealed which classic SMG is still “filthy” in Season 2.
Warzone is packed full of different to try out, from reliable Assault Rifles that can hold their own at any distance, to lethal long-range Snipers that are perfect for picking enemies off. However, once the final circle closes in and you’re forced into close-quarters fights, the SMGs are king.
The integration with MW3 brought plenty of top-tier SMGs into the mix, with the likes of the WSP Swarm and AMR9 dominating lobbies. But, while they’re not in fashion anymore, there are still plenty of guns from the MW2 days that can rival the best in the game.
With this in mind, Warzone expert and pro FaZe Swagg has urged players to give one of the game’s most iconic SMGs another go on Urzikstan.
In an upload to his YouTube channel, Swagg explained that the Lachmann Sub, better known as the MP5, is an incredibly strong pick, which he demonstrated by dropping a 43-kill game.
He also included his ideal MP5 loadout for Warzone Season 2, which you can check out below.
FaZe Swagg’s best MP5 loadout in Warzone Season 2
- Barrel: Lachmann Pulsar
- Muzzle: Zehmn35 Compensated Flash Hider
- Stock: Meer Recoil-56 Factory Stock
- Magazine: 40 Round Mag
- Rear Grip: Lachmann TCG-10
The MP5 is a staple of the Call of Duty series, appearing in multiple titles over the years. Fans will remember that the Lachmann Sub version completely took over Al Mazrah, becoming the most popular SMG for the majority of Warzone 2’s lifespan.
With this setup, which focuses on keeping the Lachman Sub’s recoil under control to make it effective at both close and mid-range, Swagg thinks it’s time for the iconic weapon to make a comeback.
“It’s a 40-plus kill game on Urzikstan with the old faithful – the MP5. You guys need to try this loadout,” said Swagg. “This thing is absolutely filthy, I was frying.”
Once word of this loadout gets out, we’ll have to wait and see how Lachmann Sub stacks up against meta picks like the HRM-9 and RAM-9.
