Warzone expert Swagg reveals “ridiculous” rifle build to replace meta ARs
ActivisionAssault Rifles are a popular pick in Warzone thanks to their versatility and low recoil, but CoD exert Kris “FaZe Swagg” Lamberson has revealed a rifle build that he claims can replace them all.
Warzone players are spoilt for choice when it comes to weapons after the Season 1 update introduced the full arsenal of MW3 guns. From long-range Sniper Rifles to mobile SMGs, there’s no shortage of options when building a class.
Assault Rifles are the go-to pick for many, as they are capable of taking out enemies at all ranges without putting you at a major disadvantage. This is why guns like the MCW and DG-56 show up in plenty of matches.
However, Warzone guru Swagg has revealed a loadout that could make the game’s best Assault Rifles obsolete. In his January 8 video, Swagg explained that the MTZ-762 is a meta gun that he “never knew existed,” which has been adopted by pro players in tournaments for long-range fights.
“This gun is absolutely ridiculous, this is what’s now replacing every single AR,” he said. “Nobody is using any of the Assault Rifles. They’re not using the MTZ [Interceptor], they’re not even sniping, every single person is rocking this.”
He went on to mention that the Battle Rifle “fries” over long distances and its low recoil almost makes it “too easy to use.” Check out Swagg’s best MTZ-762 loadout in Warzone below.
Swagg’s best MTZ-762 loadout in Warzone
- Muzzle: VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor
- Barrel: MTZ-Precision Blackthorn Barrel
- Magazine: 30 Round Mag
- Stock: EXF Close Quarters Assault Stock
- Optic: Corio Eagleseye 2.5X
Swagg’s best MTZ-762 loadout in Warzone focuses on buffing the range and bullet velocity, with the VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor and MTZ-Precision Blackthorn Barrel both making the rifle a long-range monster. Meanwhile, the EXF Close Quarters Assault Stock improves its recoil control, making it laser-accurate.
The Corio Eagleseye 2.5X has become the meta Optic in Warzone, offering extra accuracy without sacrificing too much mobility. Finally, 30 Round Mags are the largest clip sizes available, ensuring you can deal with multiple enemies in one go.
While Swagg admitted that the relatively small magazines make it slightly harder to use in Quads, he claimed it’s still capable of “dominating” if you land your shots, so it’s definitely worth giving a go.
