Warzone movement exploit lets players fly across the map at super speed

Warzone players are now exploiting Redeploy Drone to increase their movement speed in the game, and it is so fast that they’re virtually flying across the map.

Warzone made plenty of changes in Season 1, with the integration of Modern Warfare 3. One of the most welcomed additions was the overhaul to the movement with the return of mechanics like slide canceling.

However, Modern Warfare 3 already had multiple movement complaints from players, including some funny exploits that’d have you move like a snake. Warzone wasn’t immune to movement issues, and now players have found one exploit that is faster than any other previous one.

This time you’re not slithering on the ground, you’re flying and hurtling across acres of space, all at breakneck speed. The exploit footage was first shared on X (formerly Twitter) by ww, and has made the rounds.

Of course, the moment players took notice of the technique, many asked how to do it.

X user Vaultboy explained the technique: “Hit a redeploy drone all the way up, pull your chute, then you need to fly to catch the top of the zipline, cut your chute and interact with the top of the zip where there is a descend prompt. Descend all the way to the bottom and then you can fly like this.” You also have to dual-wield weapons for it to work.

Others, meanwhile, poked fun, “This is how fast guys look when I try to shoot them.” Another user said, “PC players will be like well if they have aim assist we should be able to keep this to make it fair?”

There are catches here, though, the footage is in Zombie mode and while some players did say you can do this even in regular Warzone, you cannot fire any guns while you’re using this exploit. So, even though it looks ridiculous, it doesn’t hold much value other than just for laughs.

Developers haven’t yet acknowledged the exploit. For more on Warzone, check out how all of Warzone maps fare up against each other or the best FOV settings.
