Warzone players beg for useful UAV feature to return after bizarre disappearance
ActivisionWarzone players are baffled as they notice the disappearance of a useful feature, calling for the devs to bring it back.
Warzone is constantly evolving with each new update, as the devs aim to bring balance changes and quality-of-life features to help improve player experience.
With Season 1 Reloaded inbound, players are gearing up for all the new content, including the TAQ Evolvere. While this has created a buzz around the community, unfortunately, players have noticed the disappearance of a useful feature, leaving them frustrated and calling for the devs to bring it back.
Reddit user ‘SkylineGTRR34Freak’ put a post up in the Warzone subreddit titled, “Why the hell did we get rid of enemy UAV callouts?”
The user explained further, as they said, “Ever since MW3 got around there are no enemy UAV callouts anymore for whatever reasons and it creates a lot of ‘how the f**k did he know I was there?’ moments.”
The OP isn’t even sure if the removal of UAV callouts in Warzone was “intentional or just another f**k up when they migrated Warzone 2.” They aren’t the only ones frustrated with the disappearance of this useful feature either, as the comments are filled with audio complaints.
One user wrote, “I havent heard enemy UAV since the beginning of WZ3 which is rlly annoying cause like you said you don’t know if it’s walls (wallhacks) or UAV…hope they fix audio soon.”
Some players believe it could be a “bug,” or perhaps the devs “forgot to record voice lines for it.” Regardless, it’s unclear why UAV callouts have been removed, but players would certainly like to see it return.
One player said that UAV callouts are “needed,” while another feels that the devs “don’t even know why they are doing things at this point.”
We’ll have to wait and see if anything changes, as it’s possible that it could be a bug that the devs are working on a fix for. If you’re interested in more, make sure you check out whether or not MW2 weapons are meta in Warzone.
