Warzone Resurgence “torture” for solo players after Season 5 Reloaded

Warzone players are furious as Resurgence Solos, a popular mode for those who like to go at it alone, has been removed.

While Solo enjoyers can still play Battle Royale Solos on Urzikstan, Resurgence has been cut down to Duos, Trios, and Quads at the start of Season 5 Reloaded. The fast-action mode is a favorite for Solo players, as it allows you to get into the action and start fighting much faster than standard BR.

The community have been expressing disappointment with the decision across social media, as one Reddit post asked, “Why tf did they remove Resurgence Solos?”

They described Duos and Trios as “torture,” claiming their teammates usually end up dying and quitting the match, leaving the solo with slim odds as they face cohesive squads.

Players just “don’t get why they removed Resurgence Solos,” and others in the comments are similarly confused.

One user believes removing popular modes like this is “completely intentional,” as they claim that the devs know it’ll produce a backlash, and then once it returns, there’ll be a spike in players and positivity.

Some are simply baffled by this method of removing and adding modes every so often, and one player went as far as to call it “Awful decision making,” as others suggest no fill Duos as a solution.

“Highly recommend playing duos with squad fill turned off. You’ll just get the regular solos respawn rules and 2v1 in resurgence are very manageable and will make you a better player,” commented one user.

However, for some, Solos is the only mode they play, and don’t want to face squads on their own. Playlist updates come fairly often, so perhaps Solos will return to Warzone soon.

Players haven’t taken too kindly to the S5R update, as players are slamming it as the worst ever, especially thanks to the On-Demand Texture Streaming change.
