Warzone’s best LMG becomes close-range “beast” with one simple change

Warzone’s best close-range loadout may come as a bit of a surprise, as it actually uses a meta LMG that’s been dominating Season 4.

Aside from the Kar98k, the Holger 26 has taken over Warzone‘s long-range meta in Season 4, as its easy-to-control recoil and high damage make it an ideal choice for Urzikstan and even Rebirth Island.

As for the close-range meta, the Superi 46 has been an extremely popular pick, but after giving the JAK Burnout Kit a try out in Warzone Season 4, I found it to be a top close-range choice thanks to its incredibly fast TTK.

The Holger 26 with the JAK Burnout Kit turns the LMG into a close-quarters monster that can outgun the likes of the Striker and WSP 9. Its close-range TTK is impressive, as the JAK Burnout Kit reduces the LMG’s long-range capabilities while improving its fire rate, bullet velocity, limb damage, and damage falloff.

When using our best Holger 26 build for Warzone, I found that I only needed to change the optic and add the 5.56 NATO High Grain Rounds to accommodate the JAK Burnout Kit. Whatever close-range sight you like to use will work, but my preference is always the Nydar Model 2023 for close-range weapons.

Even popular Warzone content creator WhosImmortal has highlighted the Holger 26 with the JAK Burnout Kit Aftermarket Part as one of the meta close-range loadouts in Season 4.

WhosImmortal described the weapon as a “close-range beast,” as he also called its TTK “insane” when you use it in close-quarters gunfights.

So, if you’re looking for a new close-range weapon to use in Warzone, but are fed up with SMGs, make sure you give this Holger 26 loadout a try.

It’s a loadout that will fair well in Ranked Play too, especially if you combine it with the best audio and controller settings for Warzone.
