BO6 Zombies has been receiving a steady stream of content with the highlight being the recently released Citadelle des Morts map. To keep the ball rolling, the Jingle Hells LTM, last seen in Black Ops Cold War, is returning soon and bringing the festive cheer to Zombies with it.

If you’re wondering exactly what the game mode is all about, here’s everything to know about the Black Ops 6 Zombies Jingle Hells LTM.

BO6 Zombies Jingle Hells LTM release date

The Jingle Hells LTM arrives in Black Ops 6 on Tuesday, December 17 at 10 AM PT / 7 PM BST / 1 PM ET. It’s unclear exactly how long the mode will stick around for.

Jingle Hells LTM explained

Jingle Hells LTM map deocrations in BO6 Zombies

The Jingle Hells LTM puts a holiday-themed spin on the classic Zombies experience and brings changes to the Liberty Falls map. As the name suggests, the map will be decked out with Christmas decorations including wreaths, ribbons, trees, twinkling lights, and a blanket of thin snow. The river near the town has also frozen over, which sumps up the visual changes.

As for the gameplay, Mystery Boxes, Crafting Tables, and the Arsenal Machine are not present in the mode. You can still complete the Liberty Falls main quest and enjoy the added challenge, although you’ll receive only the standard prizes. Here are some of the mode’s special features:

  • Festive audio: Bespoke holiday-themed sounds have been crafted for the LTM, further selling the festive vibes.
  • New GobbleGum: A brand-new ‘Holiday Cheer’ GobbleGum has been added to the mode. After using it, zombies will don festive clothing such as Santa hats and Christmas outfits.
  • Snowball Piles: Players can collect up to five snowballs from piles scattered around the map and use them as throwable projectiles.
  • Naughty or Nice Power Up: The Power Up is shaped like a large stocking and it’ll throw out either presents or spawn Vermin depending on whether you’ve been naughty or nice.
  • Hostile Snowmen: Several Snowmen are dotted around the map but they’re far from jolly. Destroy them to reveal what they’re hiding, which can range from present to sneaky zombies.
  • Present Boxes: Zombies have a small chance of dropping a present after being killed. Open them to reveal a festive gift.
  • S.A.M.T.A. Trials: Trial Machines have also undergone a holiday makeover and you may find additional presents near them.
  • Frozen Rounds: It’s undeniably chilly in Liberty Falls and during some rounds the cold will take over, slowing your reaction and movement speed significantly. When caught in this situation, the best course of action might be to head indoors.

The excruciating cold doesn’t mean that zombies will take it easy on you, so make sure to use the best Pack-a-Punch weapons and the best class setups for Black Ops 6 Zombies.
