If you’re wondering whether Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, here’s everything you need to know.

Activision revealed a ton of details regarding Black Ops 6 in its exclusive deep dive event during the Xbox Games Showcase on June 9. Despite sharing the editions and pre-order bonuses, many players still wonder if the game will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

We’re almost four years into the current generation, but the series has yet to leave the previous one behind. So, here’s whether Black Ops 6 will be on PS4 and Xbox One.

Is Black Ops 6 coming to PS4 & Xbox One?

Yes, Black Ops 6 will be released on PS4 and Xbox One on October 25, along with all the last-gen consoles and PC. Call of Duty confirmed this via BO6’s reveal event and June 9’s blog post.

Despite the age of past-gen consoles, it isn’t surprising that the series isn’t ditching them. The past four CoD games, starting with Black Ops Cold War, were available on all cross-gen platforms, including last year’s Modern Warfare 3

Microsoft also signed a 10-year agreement with Nintendo on February 2023, to bring CoD to Nintendo’s handheld. Per a report from Insider Gaming, CoD will arrive on the handheld with the next iteration of the Nintendo Switch.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is rumored to launch next year, and we already have leaks on Call of Duty 2025, which is rumored to be another Black Ops title and a direct sequel to BO2.
