Warzone’s developers teased that a familiar villain would arrive in Vanguard soon, and dataminers claim that classic baddie Al-Asad will arrive as a pre-order bonus for Modern Warfare 2.

Modern Warfare 2 arrives on October 28 and the devs have been playing their cards close to their chest. However, dataminers claim to have discovered a ton of information about the game, including a campaign early access period, the maps, weapons, and more.

Even more pre-order bonuses are still to come, and it appears classic CoD villain Al-Asad will arrive in Vanguard and Warzone as a Modern Warfare 2 pre-order bonus.

Al-Asad in Modern Warfare remastered

Leaker Reality claims to have found that four classic CoD villains will be making their way to Vanguard and Warzone, most likely during Season 5 — Menendez, Rorke, Seraph, and Khaled Al-Asad.

The developers teased more Modern Warfare 2 pre-order bonuses are still to come, and it appears Al-Asad will be unlocked for all players who have pre-ordered the upcoming title.

Reality has reportedly been pouring through Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded‘s game files, and has discovered a string for the “Khaled Al-Asad Operator Bundle.”

This string reportedly states Al-Asad will be “free with digital pre-order of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.” There’s a short description too, stating: “The time has come to show our true strength with the Khaled Al-Asad Operator Bundle.”

If true, anyone who pre-orders Modern Warfare 2 digitally will automatically receive Al-Asad as a playable Vanguard and Warzone Operator, similar to Woods and Kinglsey ahead of their respective titles.

But, as always, take these leaks with a pinch of salt as nothing has been confirmed by Activision or Infinity Ward. In the meantime, be sure to check out all of the weapon buffs and nerfs in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded.
