Apex Legends players have found a way to make the Kraber Sniper Rifle one-shot kill yet again after the Season 13 nerfs.

Apex Legends Season 13 brought some pretty huge changes to the game, especially when it comes to the Legends and weapon meta.

As well as some major Valkyrie nerfs and the introduction of Newcastle, Season 13 also nerfed the only one-shot kill weapon in the game, the Kraber.

This combined with the Helmet buffs caused a change in the weapon’s one-shot headshot potential, but this new trick reverts the changes.

Prior to the nerfs, the Kraber would one-shot any Legend as long as it was a headshot. This made the weapon extremely powerful and useful in end-game situations, as just one shot could change the tide of a fight.

Now, in Season 13, as long as players have the correct armor requirements, the Kraber is no longer a guaranteed one-shot kill.

Having said that, thanks to Apex Legends content creator RossTheeSquirrel, there is indeed a way for players to one-shot any Legend with the Kraber even after the Season 13 patch.

By shooting through Rampart’s Tactical ability, Amped Cover, players actually gain an increase in damage as the shielded wall “amps outgoing shots.”

This increases the Kraber’s headshot damage to revert the Season 13 nerfs, making it a one-shot headshot against any Legend no matter what armor they are wearing.

While Rampart hasn’t been considered the most popular Legend in Apex according to the pick rates, she received a buff in Season 13 and players seem to be more interested in giving her a try.

Now, she also has this added benefit of being the only Legend that has the capabilities to make the Kraber a one-shot kill again, perhaps those who love the Kraber will give her a chance.
