CoD: Mobile players beg for major nerfs to overpowered Persistence Perk

The Persistence Perk has been left untouched in CoD: Mobile for a long time and players are insistent that it needs to be nerfed.

It seems that the Persistence Perk is starting to get to some players in CoD: Mobile and think that the Killstreak-saving Perk needs to be addressed and nerfed.

As we’ve come to expect with every new season of CoD: Mobile, Season 10 has once again delivered new guns, new maps, and even more hours of frantic Call of Duty combat for handheld users.

But whilst players are having fun making use of the new goodies on offer, many continue to be frustrated by the devs apparent dismissal of the Persistence Perk.

The equippable ability allows players to keep their Scorestreak progress intact on death, at the cost of each Scorestreak cost being doubled. But this stays this way for the whole game, almost guaranteeing some of the top Scorestreaks.

Persistence does prevent players from earning more than one of each Scorestreak in a game though, so it does have some drawbacks.

Despite this, multiple posts on the CoD: Mobile subreddit have attacked the Persistence Perk and are keen for it to be reworked. One user posted: “I have been playing this game since Season 1 and have never used Persistence, but today, I was watching Ferg’s stream and saw the absolute wrath of Persistence, and so I equipped it. This is my first 2 games with Persistence.”

They attached a couple of screenshots to the post, each showing the player dominating each game and comfortably finishing as MVP in both games.

One of the top comments suggests that perhaps it’s not Persistence that is causing all the issues, but more the Streaks themselves.

“It’s not Persistence that is the problem, it is stuff like Clusters, Napalms, and Orbital Lasers that are. Ferg is p*ssed with Persistence because the Persistence users, more often than not, do not get enough points for a VTOL, so they spam stuff like Air Strikes, Napalms, Orbital Lasers, etc,” they said.

This point seemed to be backed up by another Reddit thread for the game titled: “I still don’t have an answer. How to counter Persistence Airstrikes?”

The insinuation is that Airstrikes are regularly called in every game, with a large portion of them coming as a result of the Persistence Perk. As such, it leaves players to be peppered by these high-powered Scorestreaks regularly, every match.

A final post contained a poll with three different potential options on how to deal with the Perk, with just over 28% of people asking for a nerf, just under 25% of people asking for a buff, and just under 47% asking for it to be reworked.

It’s clear and obvious that not everyone is happy with the Persistence Perk, but with the obscene amount of content that the devs are juggling with in the game, it’s a tough call as to whether or not they’ll change the Perk.

How to unlock KSP 45 in CoD Mobile Season 6

Black Ops Cold War’s powerful KSP 45 SMG arrives in Call of Duty Mobile Season 6, and here’s how to unlock it.

KSP 45 SMG in CoD Mobile

Call of Duty: Mobile Season 6 is almost here, bringing the fan-favorite Modern Warfare 2 Favela map to multiplayer and the Jackal to battle royale. Of course, there’s a brand-new weapon, so here’s how to unlock Cold War’s KSP 45 in CoD Mobile.

CoD Mobile’s 2022 content isn’t showing any sign of slowing down, with Season 6 arriving on June 29, 2022. Amid rumors that Favela will arrive in Modern Warfare 2, the classic map will first arrive in CoD Mobile alongside the battle royale’s new Jackal vehicle.

This update also brings a powerful Black Ops Cold War SMG to CoD Mobile — the KSP 45. This burst-fire SMG was one of Cold War’s best, so here’s how you’ll be able to unlock it in CoD Mobile Season 6.

How to unlock KSP 45 in CoD Mobile

Call of Duty Mobile’s KSP 45 SMG can be unlocked for free at Tier 21 of the Season 6 Battle Pass. This will unlock the base version of the KSP, but CoD Mobile players who purchase the Premium Pass will also be able to unlock a Blueprint for it at a later tier.

Don’t worry if you don’t manage to unlock it during Season 6 as once the season concludes, the KSP 45 can be unlocked through an SMG-based challenge. For example, Season 4‘s Koshka can now be unlocked by getting 30 headshot kills with a Sniper Rifle.

The KSP 45 was a powerful three-round burst SMG in Black Ops Cold War that could kill extremely fast, even at range. Expect its versatility to be especially powerful in Favela’s mix of long sightlines and close-quarters combat.

The KSP 45 isn’t the only weapon coming to CoD Mobile in Season 6, as Black Ops 3’s L-CAR 9 fully-automatic pistol will arrive as part of the Seasonal Challenges.

Warzone Mobile is also in the works, and you can check out the leaked gameplay that shows off some of the new mechanics.

CoD Mobile Season 6 To the Skies

Call of Duty Mobile is gearing up for a major content drop in its sixth season, and here’s everything we know about Season 6, including the release date, new map, weapons, and vehicle.

The CoD Mobile developers bring brand-new content for players to enjoy through seasonal updates, and Season 5, titled Tropical Vision, brought a map, as well as a Battle Pass with 100 tiers to progress through.

Now, players are looking ahead to the content drop in CoD Mobile Season 6, and we’ll go over everything that we know about it, including when the seasonal update is expected to arrive.

CoD Mobile Season 6 release date

In a Call of Duty blog post, the developers revealed that the official release date for CoD Mobile Season 6 is June 29, 2022.

You can expect the update to roll out at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET / 1 AM BST, with the new content available in the game shortly after.

Season 5’s Tropical Vision update brought the Apocalypse map that first appeared in Black Ops Cold War, and the devs confirmed in a Reddit thread that we would see the arrival of a map from a CoD title older than Black Ops 4 “in the next couple of seasons.”

On June 18, the developers officially confirmed that Favela from 2009’s Modern Warfare 2 is set to arrive in Season 6. However, the CoD Mobile version is set to be an iteration of Favela from Call of Duty: Ghosts.

This multi-level map is set in the slums of Rio de Janeiro and features multiple two-story buildings along with rooftops that you can climb onto.

While this map is large, close encounters are frequent, ensuring fast-paced action. It remains to be seen if the CoD Mobile version will feature any major differences from the Ghosts version.

CoD Mobile Season 6 Jackal Fighter Jet

On June 21, the developers tweeted an image that showed part of an aerial vehicle, seemingly confirming the addition of the Jackal Fighter Jet which was previously rumored to arrive in CoD Mobile Season 5.

Jackals will be deployed around the Battle Royale environment of CoD Mobile. These destructive vehicles are equipped with missiles, decoys, and a Gatling Gun. “While flying, your HUD will display other jets, whether enemy-controlled or friendly controlled or non-manned.”

There will also be a JACKAL: Fueled Up Themed Event in CoD Mobile Season 6 that will allow players to earn rewards.

CoD Mobile Season 6 new weapons

The Oden Assault Rifle appeared in the test build and was added during Season 5, and that server also featured another weapon that will make its CoD Mobile debut in Season 6.

The KSP 45 from Black Ops Cold War was found in the test server, and this three-shot burst SMG is now confirmed to arrive in Season 6. The KSP 45 is capable of dishing out a ton of pain to its targets at medium range. The weapon also boasts low recoil, making it ideal for close-range combat.

This new Season 6 weapon will be available via the Battle Pass, “At Tier 21, access a precision SMG in the form of the three-round burst KSP 45.”

In addition, the L-CAR 9 secondary pistol is another weapon found in the expired test server that will appear in CoD Mobile Season 6. Players will have to complete Seasonal Challenges to get their hands on the pistol.

Will Warzone Mobile replace Call of Duty Mobile?

Call of Duty: Mobile players are wondering whether Warzone Mobile will replace the game when it officially launches.

Warzone Mobile has officially been revealed, and players are wondering if the battle royale will replace CoD: Mobile.

Activision have officially confirmed that Warzone will be getting a mobile port of the battle royale for handheld gamers. Warzone Mobile will aim to rival Fortnite on Mobile and Apex Legends Mobile, which has become extremely popular since its launch.

Of course, Activision already has CoD: Mobile, which has a huge fanbase and is constantly evolving through seasonal updates and new content. With that being said, many are wondering whether Warzone Mobile will replace CoD: Mobile.

Will Warzone Mobile replace CoD: Mobile?

Warzone Mobile

As far as we know, Warzone Mobile will not be replacing CoD: Mobile, but rather they will be two separate entities. Having said that, there may be some crossover between the two, perhaps in terms of weaponry and leveling.

CoD: Mobile hosts an abundance of game modes and is more related to the classic Multiplayer mode that Call of Duty has become famous for.

Warzone Mobile is a handheld version of the Call of Duty battle royale game that has taken the FPS genre by storm since its release on consoles and PC in 2020.

The devs want to bring that Call of Duty battle royale experience to the massive mobile community who maybe haven’t had the chance to experience Warzone.

The experience will be different on mobile, as obviously the capabilities of handheld devices are much less compared to the power of a console or PC. Players should expect something similar to CoD: Mobile in terms of graphics and gameplay, as well as crossplay capabilities.
