CoD Mobile’s Mythic Peacekeeper MK2 release date confirmed

The Call of Duty Mobile dev team has revealed the release date for the upcoming Mythic Peacekeeper MK2 – Artifact.

CoD Mobile’s newest Mythic weapon, the Peacekeeper MK2 Artifact, will be arriving to the game late in the week of December 28.

We’re now in CoD Mobile Season 13 titled Winter War, which has added Nuketown Russia from BO4, brought back Holiday Raid, and introduced a new weapon, the Peacekeeper MK2.

The Peacekeeper MK2 is unlocked at Tier 21 of CoD Mobile’s Battle Pass. It’s a “fully automatic assault rifle with superior handling and high rate of fire.” The Gunsmith system is said to also give it “unimaginable flexibilities.”

CoD Mobile Season 13 roadmap

This new Assault Rifle will be receiving a Mythic variant which applies a magma effect to the gun.

CoD Mobile’s new Mythic weapon

On December 30, the official CoD Mobile Twitter account tweeted that the new Mythic weapon will be coming to the game “this week.”

CoD Mobile devs posted a community update on the Reddit page on December 21 which gave details for the new weapon.

“As per usual, the Mythic is all about making something as stylish and high quality as possible, with a wide array of customization options for everything from death effects to charms,” said the CoD Mobile team.

This Mythic variant also has its own backstory and lore, as detailed by the devs:

“This weapon of extraterrestrial origin is forged from a meteorite fallen from space and dropped into the cold reaches of Antarctica. MAEVWAY, one of the world’s largest weapons manufactures, got to the scene first and their scientists found that the meteorite had merged with Antarctica ice, becoming something curiously both frozen and burning.”

CoD Mobile's Peacekeeper MK2

“Of course, as an ambitious weapon manufacturer MAEVWAY sought a way to utilize this unique element and for their first attempt they’ve merged a meteorite fragment with a Peacekeeper MK2. They’ve created something that is somehow alive, frozen, and burning with magma; they’ve created The Peacekeeper MK2 – Artifact.”

How to unlock the Mythic weapon

There was controversy surrounding the last Mythic weapon drop. To unlock the variant, you had to receive it in a lucky draw, with each try escalating in price. Players reported spending over $500 to unlock the complete variant.

To have a complete Mythic weapon, you must first unlock the gun, then receive the Mythic attachments through random loot crates. Without spending the extra money for these attachments, the weapon will behave like a regular gun.

In the patch notes, devs said they have “optimized mythic weapons awards,” so we’ll see how this affects unlocking the Mythic Peacekeeper MK2 when it drops.

Attack of the Undead could be returning to COD Mobile

Attack of the Undead could be returning to Call of Duty mobile, as revealed in the most recent test build.

The Attack of the Undead mode could be making another return to COD Mobile in the coming weeks.

The popular 20 player battle royale limited-time mode, Attack of the Undead has been teased via the January test build for COD Mobile.

This mode pits survivors vs undead, with the goal of the undead to kill all survivors before the time runs out. Survivors on the other hand, simply need to live long enough for the timer to hit 0 to win. The game will begin with 2 randomly selected players to be zombies, who will originally be dropped in with their loadout.

After 2 additional players are infected, zombies will spawn in with knives instead. This is where teamwork will become paramount, as closing in the distance to a survivor will require lots of teammates for distractions. Survivors should also use the beginning of the game to loot up and secure an area to survive.

Once one survivor is remaining, they’ll be granted a death machine and extra health as a boost. As survivors score kills, they’ll be granted various perks to fight off the undead. Here’s the list:

  • Vulture: Collect ammo from kills. (Scavenger)
  • Amped: Faster weapon swap and reload speed.
  • Restock: Faster operator skill activation.

Hopefully we’ll see this mode implemented into the next major COD mobile update.

Tips and tricks to dominate Grind on CoD Mobile

You can be the top dog in Call of Duty: Mobile’s Grind mode if you’re smart, and remember a few tips and tricks.

Call of Duty Mobile

Call of Duty: Mobile has finally got the Grind mode as part of its recent Season 13 update. If you’re looking to come out on top during this multiplayer mode, then you should keep a few useful tips in mind.

Grind was a unique game mode that was first introduced in Call of Duty: Ghosts. It was initially only available through custom games, but its popularity led to it eventually becoming a true multiplayer mode when Modern Warfare was released in 2019.

Now, Activision has brought it to CoD Mobile as part of the Season 13 update, and it involves you collecting tags dropped by every enemy upon death. Your goal will be to bring these tags back to your team’s objective marker on the map.

This isn’t going to be a cakewalk, so here are a few useful tips to keep in mind to dominate the Grind game mode in Call of Duty: Mobile.

Mind your positioning in CoD Mobile’s Grind

If you want to collect enemy tags, you will need to control the center of the map. This is because it will increase your chances of surviving the journey back to your team’s base since it’s less risky than running from further away.

Don’t focus on aggressively pushing your way through enemy ranks, as this mode isn’t ideal for that. You’ll find yourself in a world of hurt if you stick to this type of planning, so be careful as you make your way forward.

That said, you can still be aggressive in your efforts to keep the enemy team from banking. You can put aside the objective of collecting tags, and instead focus on taking out foes while you’re positioned close to their base.

Hopefully, you’ll have a teammate or two that will focus on picking up tags from the enemies you bring down. Your focus will be on slowing them down in their efforts to rack up points.

Less is more in CoD Mobile’s Grind

As we mentioned earlier, you shouldn’t focus on playing aggressively in Grind. While you might be tempted to gun-down foes left and right while collecting as many tags as you can, this isn’t guaranteed to work out well for you.

If the enemy can eliminate you near their base while you have a large collection of tags on you, then your efforts will go to waste. They’ll have no issue taking back what you stole from them and you’ll end up helping them.

For this reason, less is often more in this game mode. You should focus on collecting a few tags and then making several round trips to your objective marker.

Stick with SMGs

Your weapon loadout choice will determine your chances of success in Grind. If you’re up for rushing into close combat, then you can’t do better than SMGs. They offer better mobility and speed than Assault Rifles.

This makes them the ideal choice for this game mode. You’ll be spending the majority of your time running and gunning in this mode, so it makes sense to choose a weapon that you can fire from the hip. You can do well with the AGR 556 after equipping a few attachments.

While Assault Rifles often dominate battle royales, they don’t offer the assurance that SMGs do during hectic close-range combat situations. You can have the AR users in your team hang back and provide cover fire.

In the end, the class you pick will be the key to your imminent victory. Just keep these tips in mind and you’ll be able to annihilate your foes in CoD Mobile’s Grind mode.

The 5 Best weapons in Call of Duty: Mobile

There are a plethora of amazing weapons in Call of Duty: Mobile Season 13 for you to use. We’ll go over the 5 best ones you should pick.

The 5 Best weapons in Call of Duty: Mobile

With Season 13 of COD: Mobile well underway, there are a ton of new changes to the game’s multiplayer, and its weapons. This means that you’ll have to try out some new guns, and here are the 5 best ones.

Call of Duty: Mobile’s Season 13 went live on Android and iOS devices on December 21, bringing a plethora of new content such as multiplayer maps, Battle Royale changes, and new weapons. The BK57, QXR, and Razorback are the newest guns in the season.

A few weapons such as the ASM 10 have been nerfed in the battle royale so this, along with the new additions, gives you incentive to try out different guns. You’re not guaranteed a victory in Battle Royale by being good at 1v1 gunfights, so you’ll need to pick your weapons wisely.

The 5 Best Call of Duty: Mobile Weapons

COD: Mobile has a wide assortment of weapons for you to choose from, and many of them are suited for different types of combat. SMGs are ideal for taking on your foes while running and gunning, while Assault Rifles dominate medium to long-range combat.

You can get yourself some extremely powerful weapons as loot during matches and here are the five best guns that you can use in Call of Duty: Mobile Season 13.

The ASM-10 is potentially the best Assault Rifle in CoD Mobile Season 13. It’s capable of killing an enemy in only three shots at 20 meters and has very manageable recoil. Plus its headshot accuracy is unmatched by any other weapon in the game.

It does have a low ADS speed, but that hardly matters compared to the damage it can deal and the accuracy it gives you. The gun has received a nerf during this season with the standard mag size being reduced from 30 rounds down to 25.

The weapon will now require more care when using it in hectic combat situations, so we recommend going with an extended magazine to counter this change. It will go along great with the impressive rate of fire that this AR possesses.

Peacekeeper MK2

The Peacekeeper MK2 is a brand new Assault Rifle that you can unlock at Tier 21 of the free Battle Pass. It’s an ideal weapon choice for close-range combat due to its great damage, mobility, and accuracy that allows you to stay on the move while shooting.

It comes with an iron-sight which is a lot like the base Man-O-War’s, and it’s the only weapon with the magazine flip animation reload in the game.

This weapon isn’t fit for long-range combat, so you’re better off closing the distance between you and your foes. Equipping a few select attachments will significantly improve the close-range combat capabilities of the weapon.

With the great mobility offered by the MK2, you’ll be able to respond to enemies extremely fast and dish out some real pain.

This Assault Rifle has become a staple of the Call of Duty franchise and is an extremely popular pick for players. It’s useful at different ranges and its high damage make it capable of eliminating foes in just a couple of shots at close to medium-range.

The AK-47 is great for decimating any foe that dares come your way, but the downside is the high recoil. If you want accuracy when aiming at an enemy target, then you’ll have to equip a few attachments to improve this flaw.

You can use the Strike Foregrip to improve vertical recoil control, and ADS bullet spread accuracy. This will come at the cost of movement speed, but you can counteract that with the Stippled Grip Tape attachment.

AGR 556

If you’re up for rushing into close combat, then you can’t do better than SMGs. They offer better mobility and speed than Assault Rifles, so they’re the ideal choice. The AGR 556 is a reliable gun that you obtain at Tier 21 on the Season 12 Battle Pass.

This fully automatic submachine gun can deal damage with a high rate of fire and low recoil. It allows for a lot of mobility and has great range for an SMG. The only aspect that needs some tuning is the DPS, so we’ve prepared a loadout that prioritizes dishing out damage with minimal loss of movement speed.

This automatic shotgun has a large ammo capacity that makes it ideal for close-range combat situations. While it doesn’t have the quickest firing speed, it makes up for it with an incredible effective damage range, and you can reload all your shots at once thanks to the magazine system.

A shotgun isn’t the weapon of choice when engaging in medium to long-range combat, however, you can still increase the Echo’s damage range through attachments such as the MIP Extended Light Barrel.

The weapon’s inability to ADS means you will end up firing from the hip, which allows you to spam shots and eliminate foes frequently. That makes it a must-have during modes like Domination and Hardpoint.

That covers the five best weapons that you pick in COD: Mobile Season 13. This selection of guns is useful for a variety of different combat scenarios, at different ranges. Once you have these equipped, you’ll become an unstoppable killing machine.

We hope that this list serve you well. With the new season well underway, we’re expecting a ton of new content for Call of Duty: Mobile in 2021. We’ll be sure to keep you updated with every new announcement.
