CoD: Vanguard will continue the tradition of field upgrades, and here is a list of the ones available for players to dominate their enemies with in-game.

As far as loadouts go in Call of Duty, players can take an awful lot with them onto the battlefield. In addition to two firearms, players can mix and match three perks and two pieces of equipment.

On top of that, CoD: Vanguard is once again allowing the use of Field Upgrades. These are a unique third piece of equipment that operates on a cooldown. Where players have a limited number of lethal and tactical equipment, Field Upgrades are limitless and give players various bonuses.

Here are all of the CoD: Vanguard Field Upgrades currently known.

CoD: Vanguard Field Upgrade List

As of right now, there are only five known Field Upgrades in CoD: Vanguard. More upgrades could be added later or when the game releases. For comparison, Warzone and Cold War currently have seven Field Upgrades.

Supply Box

The classic Field Upgrade, Supply Box, returns in Vanguard. The player throws down a box of Ammo and Equipment for themselves and their teammates to stock up. The box explodes when shot. This Field Upgrade has a fast recharge rate.

Armor Plates

Armor Plates function exactly as they do in Warzone. Using this Field Upgrade allows players to take a few more hits before going down. Armor Plates have a fast recharge rate.

Goliath

A new Field Upgrade, Goliath, is a small remote-control bomb that players can drive like the RCXD. Players can drive this tank-like bomb for 30 seconds before it explodes, or they can detonate it early. The Goliath has a slow recharge rate.

Field Mic

The Field Mic operates as a stationary UAV that covers a minimal area. Players who pass through this area will be marked on the map briefly. The Field Mic has a slow recharge rate.

Dead Silence

Another classic Field Upgrade, Dead Silence, allows you to move without making any noise. This buff only lasts for a few seconds but should be long enough for you to flank your enemies without being detected. Dead Silence has a fast recharge rate.

Call of Duty Vanguard Goliath Field Upgrade

Those are all of the CoD: Vanguard Field Upgrades that are in the game currently. However, there will likely be more to come in the future. Although, players aren’t too happy with some of the ones we have now.
