Now that players are getting their hands on Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Multiplayer, some players are asking the developers to make changes to the Goliath Field Upgrade.

Sledgehammer Games officially revealed Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Multiplayer on September 7, showing off the game’s maps, weapons, and new mechanics before the Open Beta.

Unfortunately, some players who have been lucky enough to experience and see new gameplay of the upcoming Call of Duty installment haven’t been too impressed with one Field Upgrade in particular.

Now that players have finally been given the reveal for Vanguard’s multiplayer, as well as a select few actually being able to play the game and show footage, details surrounding Create-a-Class, Killstreaks, and the Field Upgrades are more clear.

One of the Field Upgrades available in Call of Duty: Vanguard is the Goliath, which seems to be causing some controversy in the community.

The Goliath is essentially Vanguard’s version of an RC-XD, a small remote control tank that runs over enemies and lets off a lethal explosion.

On the Goliath Field Upgrade, Reddit user Schwath had a few words to say, providing the devs with some feedback, asking: “Why is the Goliath a Field Upgrade instead of a Killstreak?”

Ultimately, the player feels as if the Goliath is way too strong to be a Field Upgrade, especially as this means players “can get it for free several times per match.” The player believes the Goliath should definitely be a Killstreak or be toned down, so it isn’t as powerful when used as a Field Upgrade.

Other players also agree with the opinion, with one of the comments stating, “There shouldn’t be any lethal Field Upgrades at all.”

We’ll have to wait and see what the developers will do to the Goliath once the full game launches on November 5, as Sledgehammer will be receiving loads of feedback after the Open Beta.
