CoD: Vanguard players slam Incendiary Rounds making the game “unplayable”
Vanguard players are criticizing the Incendiary Ammo attachment for being too overpowered, as they feel that the abundance of fire makes the game “unplayable.”
Call of Duty: Vanguard features a plethora of powerful weapons to use. Incendiary Ammo is a primary weapon attachment that can be equipped on many guns, but it has come under fire from players.
Vanguard’s TTK is already notoriously fast, and players have noted that adding Incendiary Ammo results in a two-shot kill. They aren’t happy with the overpowered nature of these rounds.
Reddit user Agk3los expressed their frustration with Incendiary Rounds in the Call of Duty: Vanguard subreddit, complaining that it’s impossible to enjoy the game when “the entire map is on fire.”
“I don’t know who approved 3 different lethals that burn for long periods of time and deny areas of the map while also obscuring vision, but it’s made the game pretty much unplayable most of the time,” wrote the user.
Some of the commenters attributed the problem to the Shipment map, claiming that the area is broken. However, others argued that the issue is not with the map, but with how overpowered Incendiary Rounds are.
“All this fire s**t is annoying to deal with and kills performance on old gen,” commented one user. “Why even put it in the game?” This was a sentiment shared by many other players in the thread.
This isn’t the first time that Vanguard’s Incendiary Ammo has received criticism, as many players were previously calling for a nerf to the weapon attachment. However, a few commenters also highlighted other issues.
“People need to understand that it’s not just the map on fire,” one user stated. “It’s the countless bugs, getting kicked randomly, camos still being broken, turtling still not addressed, etc.”
