Cold War players want unique Numbers Broadcast Scorestreak idea in Season 5

One player has come up with a clever Scorestreak idea that would turn friendly players hostile in Black Ops Cold War Season 5, playing on the Numbers theme to manipulate players.

Needless to say that Call of Duty Scorestreaks generally fall into one of a few different categories. You’ve got defensive ones like the Air Patrol, ground weapons like the Hand Cannon or Bow, and all-out aerial dominators like the VTOL, Chopper Gunner, and Gunship.

It’s rare that a new concept lights up streaks, but one player may have come up with an ingenious one. They have mentioned the possibility of using mind control to warp the enemy team and create chaos on the inside.

The idea comes courtesy of the Black Ops Cold War subreddit and they name the Scorestreaks as “Numbers Broadcast.”

Here is the official description of what they think the Scorestreak would involve. “When activated, the sleeper agents will rise, thus some soldiers on the enemy team will have their friendlies show up as enemies in red on the map and friendly fire will be enabled.

“In a franchise this old and frequent, brand new streaks that work in new ways are rare to find, and this is the perfect opportunity to have one.”

It sounds like a unique idea, and one that might need to be one of the game’s pricier Scorestreaks, given how it could basically lock players out.

It could either mean you’d have to be temporarily wary of every player in the game, or the A.I could even take control of a select number of teammates on a team.

Either way, with Black Ops’ history of psychological manipulation, this might be a streak tailor-made for Call of Duty.
