Season 5 of Black Ops Cold War is upon us, and there are a variety of different changes coming to the game, including a brand-new secret attachment for the popular XM4 Assault Rifle.

Black Ops Cold War will be receiving a plethora of new content when Season 5 finally goes live. The update patch notes revealed plenty of new changes, including various weapon buffs and nerfs

The XM4 is one of the most popular weapons in the game, and it will be getting several new adjustments to assist with its handling, along with a secret new attachment when the update arrives.

Both veteran and new Black Ops Cold War players tend to pick the XM4 Assault Rifle quite often. This is because it’s an all-rounder weapon that received buffs in Season 4 which made it more powerful.

When Season 5 arrives, the SAS Mag Clamp will be replaced with the unique “B-Ops Mini Clamp” attachment. This increases the reload speed by 50%, improves ADS Time by 10%, and provides an additional starting magazine.

However, this new attachment will reduce your magazine ammo from 30 to 25. While you’ll have fewer rounds to use, you’ll be able to accomplish a lot more than before.

In addition to this new attachment, the XM4 also received various buffs that make it even better in Season 5, including increased reload speed and Vertical Recoil Control bonus on the Infantry Compensator attachment.

The XM4 excels as a weapon that can be used in any situation, so be sure to experiment with different attachments that work no matter the distance. You’ll be able to dish out a ton of pain to your opponents with it.
