Coming soon to Black Ops 4 Multiplayer – Infected Game Mode, Arsenal Sandstorm, more

During the March 25th Studio Livestream, Treyarch Multiplayer leads, Tony Flame and Matt Scronce, provided some updates on what to expect in Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Multiplayer.

The most fan requested feature was detailed first. Barebones is coming on March 26th and will feature no specialists or gear.

However this isn’t the only returning game mode. Infected is also seeing its return very soon. In this mode, players killed by an “infected” player will become infected. If this uninfected players could stay alive when the timer runs out, they win.

New mode “Deathmatch Domination” is coming as well. This mode will be a mix between Team Deathmatch and Domination where both kills and captures will count towards the teams score.

Outside of modes, a new weather variant map is making an appearance, this time taking on Arsenal. In “Arsenal Sandstorm”, the map layout will remain the same however with a lot more visual obstructions.

Reactive camos will no longer require players to unlock the gold camos as a perquisite to applying. This is just one of the updates that will be detailed further in tomorrow’s patch notes on March 26th.

As a note, no specific dates were given for Infected, Arsenal Sandstorm, or Deathmatch Domination, yet they seem to all be added to the game by the end of Operation Grand Heist.
