Professional Warzone players are frustrated with a particular AMP63 loadout that lets players grab the Ghost perk early and is being used to dominate Warzone tournaments.

Warzone tournaments serve as an opportunity for fans to watch some of their favorite professional players compete against each other for the chance to win a massive prize pool.

However, a new problem has popped up in these tournaments as fans are reporting an AMP63 pistol loadout that’s letting players dominate custom matches by letting them Ghost for most of the game.

Warzone players use Ghost to keep out of sight of their opponents. However, almost the entire lobby was using it during the $50,000 Symfuhny Showdown, letting players stay hidden for most of the game.

This was all because of the following AMP63 pistol loadout:

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 7.2” Task Force
  • Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight
  • Ammunition: STANAG 30 RND
  • Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap

The Agency Suppressor and 7.2 Task Force barrel ensure that the weapon is capable of dishing out plenty of damage at range. Players can also use sound suppression to stay off minimaps.

The Tiger Team Spotlight and Serpent Wrap help improve the weapon’s speed and reactivity. While the gun’s ammo count isn’t impressive, this loadout ensures that the weapon has ideal damage and mobility.

After the tournament, various players began tweeting about what happened. Competitive player Repullze stated that Ghost should be removed from custom matches in Warzone.

“Ghost has no place in customs,” tweeted the player. Various other Warzone pros also share this sentiment, as they feel it’s unfair for players to be able to hide for the full duration of a match.

Rated and Aydan were the first and second-place finishers in the tournament, and they also discussed how Ghost’s prevalence causes problems in a stream. However, they both attributed the strategy’s success to the AMP63’s own strength.

Warzone Season 6 introduced various buffs and nerfs to help spice things up, but the AMP63 remains unchanged, retaining its position as a strong secondary option for players to close out gunfights.
