After an enormous update, Cyberpunk 2077 has been praised by many for all of its bug fixes and visual enhancements. However, it has been reported that there is one dialogue option that turns your experience pretty bad.

The new Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0 has enhanced every aspect of the game as the brand new expansion, Phantom Liberty is here. As a result, the game got a ton of attention from the community with many returning players.

In spite of all the efforts made by CD Projekt RED to make the Update 2.0 as polished as possible, one game-breaking bug reportedly still remains. With many players complaining about the bug online, a Reddit user named Takia_Gecko has actively warned others to steer clear.

According to the Reddit post, in the mission Automatic Love, if you select the “F****d in the head worse than me” option, it will reportedly “make the glitch effect stay forever.” Many others in the comments had a similar experience in this mission.

According to the post, once you click on the buggy dialogue, the glitch effect from the mission will stay on your screen forever. This has made the playthroughs of many others practically painful and people have either had to restart the entire mission or restore a previous save.

This might be a great opportunity to warn other players of the bug if it happens to everybody until the developers fix it in a subsequent patch. As CD Projekt RED have actively advised the players to restart their journey in this new update, many new and old players should be returning to begin a new campaign to experience Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0.

Although a user suggested an old method to fix the bug by drinking booze before initiating the dialogue, many have replied to them saying that the old fixes do not work on the new 2.0 update.

This means that as of writing, there are no active fixes according to the Reddit post. So it is best to hope for a fix from CD Projekt RED.
