Beyond Light’s Stasis mode has its share of problems, but now a new bug has been discovered. that allows players to instantly kill raid bosses. Thankfully, Bungie is already looking into it, but will not delay the next World’s First raid.
Destiny 2’s Beyond Light expansion has brought many new and exciting features that have changed the game. The Stasis subclass is the best example of this as players can now utilize the Darkness in battle. There have been complaints about this leading to PvP balancing issues but it turns out that there is another, more serious, problem with it.
Players have discovered a new exploit within the Stasis subclass that can be used to instantly kill bosses in the game. This has been making rounds all over the game’s online community and is yet to be patched up.
By repeatedly using the Warlock Stasis super before hitting the boss with the Salvation’s Grip Exotic grenade launcher, the boss will go down instantly. There have also been other cases where it happens with entirely different mechanics, but this is the most prominent.
This was mentioned by Reddit user Arixama and then later we heard the same from streamer Gladd, during a battle with Kalli.
At first viewers assumed that this was just a one-off moment. A small bug that wouldn’t happen more than once. However, Gladd then followed this by posting more videos of the same event happening with Morgeth and Riven.
As mentioned, this exploit can be replicated through a number of means so it’s easy for players to take advantage of it. It has also been connected to the Stasis’ freeze-and-shatter mechanic as well as to the Warlock’s Shadebinder subclass.
Bungie will not delay the next Raid
This exploit is extremely convenient for players, but is a sign of major issues with the PvE raids in Beyond Light. It is very likely that this will soon be patched and you’ll have to resort to taking on these bosses through usual means.
So far it seems that Bungie has no plans to delay the upcoming Deep Stone Crypt raid on November 21. We have heard from Destiny 2 community manager Dylan Gafner that the problem is currently being investigated and we will know what will become of it later in the week.
Hopefully, the bug will not impede the quality of the World’s First raid. This competition will reward the players who successfully complete the raid with a unique belt that will be delivered to their home addresses. In addition to this, Bungie has stated that these wins will also be verified by an internal team of data analysts.
Whether or not the Stasis subclasses will be disabled altogether because of the overwhelming amounts of complaints regarding the PvP and this remains to be seen. All we can do at the moment is wait and if you’re playing Destiny 2’s Beyond Light expansion then you can take advantage of this bug before it’s gone. Have fun with the Stasis subclass and show those enemies who’s the real boss.
Destiny 2 Beyond Light: How to get the Mask of Bakris exotic helmet
Here’s how you can unlock the Mask of Bakris exotic hunter helmet in Beyond Light.
The Mask Of Bakris is an exotic armor piece that can be found in Destiny 2’s Beyond Light expansion. We will go over what it can do and how you can unlock it.
Beyond Light takes you to Europa, a land brimming with secrets and new challenges. You can also find exotic weapons and armor pieces when exploring Jupiter’s freezing cold moon. These all have unique properties that make them worth collecting.
The Mask of Bakris helmet is a great piece of exotic gear to own because of its ability to hide you from foes. It will come in handy during situations where you don’t want enemies spotting you before you strike.
Here is everything you need to know about how to get it so you can try it out for yourself:
Mask of Bakris perks
The helmet comes with one unique attribute: the Light Shift perk. When the Mask of Bakris is equipped, you will shift instead of dodging. This will have a longer range and will hide you from enemies during use. Additionally, your arc weapons will get a damage boost after using shift.
If there are many foes in one area that you don’t want to be seen until you’ve got a plan, then you can use the helmet’s ability to keep yourself in the clear. This allows you to complete missions through different methods.
How to Get Mask of Bakris exotic Hunter helmet in Destiny 2 Beyond Light
Obtaining this exotic armor piece will not be easy. You’ll have to put yourself through serious challenges without any guarantee that you’ll immediately unlock the item if you succeed. If you’re feeling up to it, this is what you need to do.
The Mask of Bakris isn’t available everyday so you will have to hope that you picked the right day. You can get this exotic item by playing through higher level sectors so you’ll need to be above level 1200 to do this. Be sure to do these missions solo otherwise you’ll only be rewarded with Enhancement Cores.
Your best bet is to grind through the Lost Sectors on Europa or EDZ at 1250 Legend or 1280 Master level. You will have to face off against powerful foes that are capable of dishing out high amounts of damage. This won’t be a cakewalk so make sure you have some really solid gear at hand.
If you’re lucky, you’ll unlock the helmet immediately after clearing one of these missions. If not, then you’ll just have to try your luck the next day as this item isn’t a common drop. Keep trying these lost sectors and one of these times you’ll get lucky.
That covers everything you need to know about unlocking the Mask of Bakris exotic Hunter helmet in Destiny 2: Beyond Light.

How to find the Deep Stone Crypt secret chests in Destiny 2: Beyond Light
Whilst completing the raid, you should also use our guide on how to find the Deep Stone Crypt secret chests in Destiny 2: Beyond Light.
Amidst the chaos of trying to complete the complicated new Deep Stone Crypt raid, there are also hidden chests for Guardians to find in it. Here’s our in-depth guide on how to secure the Deep Stone Crypt secret chests in Destiny 2: Beyond Light.
Rare treasures are always a desirable fixation, more so when it comes to a loot fest like Bungie‘s Destiny. Secret chests mean tasty loot, tasty loot means stronger Guardians. It’s a win-win!
But to bring home this exotic bacon, you’re going to need to know where to look to find these chests. Given the sense of urgency required for the encounters and predicaments you’re in in the Deep Stone Crypt raid, it’s understandable that you could miss them.
Where are they?
Between fighting ultra-powerful bosses, removing nuclear devices, and a myriad of other potential life-threatening obstacles, your lack of desire to go off the beaten path to find treasure is understandable.
That’s why we’re here to help.
Secret Chest #1
The first chest is actually going to surface very early on in the Deep Stone Crypt raid. Your first foray into this marathon sees you piloting your Sparrow through a frostbite-inducing storm. Your number one priority here, usually, is traversing the adverse conditions, avoiding becoming an ice cube, and reaching the door to the first encounter.
However, we don’t want to do that just yet. What you actually want to do – before entering the final door – is to find a series of ledges to climb up behind you to the left. Keep climbing and you’ll find the chest hidden away in a small alcove.
Be warned though, as you jump across these ledges the propensity for frostbite is still very much in effect. 10 stacks of Frost and you’re toast, frozen toast.
Secret Chest #2
Once you’ve advanced much further into the raid, you’ll soon find yourself with a missable second secret chest. By this point, you should’ve negotiated the blizzard, disabled the security, and defeated Atraks-1.
Now you come to the brief moment of respite in which you engage in some easy-enough platforming and repel the threat of a few enemies as you head to the chamber. As you’re making your way to the chamber, you’ll eventually come across what appears to be some big blades. It will fork here with a path going left and one going right.
The right path is your objective to continue with the raid, but the left path is the gateway to our second secret chest. Go this way, climb some platforms until you arrive at one with red lights and open away.
Simple and easy instructions on how to find the Deep Stone Crypt secret chests in Destiny 2: Beyond Light. Hopefully you get some cool loot from both.
