We’re not too far into Bungie’s latest Destiny 2 chapter, Season of the Lost, and they have released a chunky Hotfix to improve it. Here are the full details of the 3.3.0.2 Hotfix for Destiny 2.

Destiny 2 Season 15’s Season of the Lost is quite a monumental step forward for the game in many ways. The long-awaited The Witch Queen expansion is just around the corner, with Season of the Lost setting players up for it, and Destiny 2 finally has crossplay.

But the progress doesn’t stop there though, as Bungie is always doing its utmost to ensure that Destiny 2 is free of bugs and problems. This is why the new 3.3.0.2 Hotfix looks to improve things by addressing some lingering issues and make some quality of life changes.

The update is available now, and here is the full extent of the Destiny 2 Season of the Lost 3.3.0.2 update and patch notes.

GAMEPLAY AND INVESTMENT

  • Fixed an issue where Prometheum Spurs would not consistently spawn combination rifts on kills while rift energy is full.
  • Fixed an issue where Dawn Chorus no longer extended burn damage.
  • The issues regarding Wormgod Caress and Radiant Dance Machines have been resolved and these armor pieces have been re-enabled in all activities.

WEAPONS

  • Fixed an issue where Danger Zone was not functioning correctly on Rocket Launchers.
  • Increase the cooldown of Shoot to Loot to four seconds.
  • This is a temporary measure to prevent shooting a brick that can’t be picked up to trigger the auto-reload.
  • Fixed an issue where ammo picked up by players could be quickly shot with Shoot to Loot to get additional ammo.
  • Fixed an issue where an interaction between Hawkmoon and Hand Cannon Holster allowed for repeated Paracausal shots.
  • Fixed an issue with Ager’s Scepter where a player’s Super wouldn’t drain while in empowered mode.

TITLE SEAL

  • Fixed issue where a gilding Triumph could be completed before the base title Seal was claimed.
  • Fixed issue where the Wyvern precision kill objective wasn’t progressing as intended.

STRIKES

General

  • Fixed an issue where strike streaks were not rewarded after completing a strike if the player joined a strike in-progress or if the player was pulled forward.
  • Players should no longer be able to apply Chill Touch to themselves or allies in strikes.
  • Players should once again not be able to reset their reputation if they have not picked up all rank reward items.
    • A quality-of-life improvement for rank resetting is coming later in Season 15.

Broodhold

  • Players can no longer be stuck after encountering In’Anah for the first time.

Hollowed Lair

  • The Fanatic can no longer become stuck in the corner.
  • The Spider Tank can no longer be killed early.

Master and Legend Lost Sectors

  • Burns, shields, and Champions listed on the tooltip for Luna Lost Sectors should once again reflect what players find in-game.

PLATFORMS AND SYSTEMS

  • Fixed an issue where selecting the Beyond Light Deluxe Edition upgrade from the Timeline took players to the full Deluxe Edition page instead of the upgrade page on the Steam store.
  • Fixed an issue where Windows 7 users were unable to launch the game due to some incompatible *.dll files.

LOCALIZATION

  • Fixed an issue with Japanese translations of a few lore entries.
  • Fixed an issue where several languages did not have a description for the Seasonal artifact.

GENERAL

  • Fixed an issue where the Xunyou offer was not rewarding the correct items.
  • Fixed an issue where the Warlock’s Nova Warp wouldn’t Blink if Hold Sprint was active.
  • Fixed an issue where the barriers surrounding the Scorch Cannons in the Fallen Walker public event repelled anything that came near them.
  • Increased the score target for Iron Banner Control from 125 to 150 (matching base Control).
  • Adjusted the Iron Banner Mercy thresholds to reduce the number of games that end shortly before they reach the score target.

There are clearly plenty of improvements headed to Destiny 2 Season of the Lost, so it should make for a cleaner experience going forward.

How to get the Destiny 2 Last Word Hand Cannon: Exotic Cipher and Ascendant Shard locations

Here’s everything you need to know about unlocking the Destiny 2 Last Word weapon, including the Exotic Cipher and Ascendant Shards locations.

Published

on

The Last Word Hand Cannon is an extremely powerful Destiny 2 weapon, and here’s everything you need to know about unlocking it, including the Exotic Cipher and Ascendant Shards locations.

When you hop into Destiny 2, you’ll need to be properly geared up for some challenging battles. The good news is that the game features a wide selection of powerful weapons to choose from.

The Last Word Hand Cannon is an Exotic weapon that boasts a full-auto fire rate and increased hip-fire capabilities. If you want to get your hands on this gun, then this guide has you covered.

How to craft the The Last Word in Destiny 2

You can only get the Destiny 2 Last Word Hand Cannon from the Monument to Lost Lights weapon vault in the Tower. This vendor is located on the far right side of the Courtyard landing zone.

In order to craft the weapon, you’ll need the following materials:

  • 1x Exotic Cipher
  • 125,000 Glimmer
  • 200 Etheric Spiral
  • 1x Ascendant Shard

You can obtain Glimmers easily, and Etheric Spirals are given as rewards for every bounty you complete for Spider at The Tangled Shore. You can find both Exotic Ciphers and the Ascendant Shards prevent more of a challenge.

However, Exotic Ciphers and Ascendant Shards are a bit more difficult to acquire, and we’ll go over everything you need to know about collecting them.

How to collect Destiny 2 Exotic Ciphers

You can obtain Exotic Ciphers by either reaching rank 55 in the current Season Pass or purchasing them from Xur the merchant. You can still receive them as a seasonal rank reward even if you don’t have the Season Pass.

If you’ve already collected a seasonal cipher previously, you’ll need to complete Xur’s Xenology quest to earn another. This requires you to complete 21 strikes, or win matches in the Crucible or Gambit.

How to collect Destiny 2 Ascendant Shards

If you already have the paid Season Pass then you’ll get Ascendant Shards after reaching season ranks 80, 85, and 94. Alternatively, you can also purchase Shards from either Banshee-44 or Ada-1.

Here’s the general cost for each Shard:

  • 10 Enhancement Prisms
  • 100 planetary materials
  • 50,000 Glimmer

It’s worth keeping in mind that the planetary materials required for these Shards are random and change depending on the day. If you’re still on the hunt, then you’ll have a few different options for unlocking Ascendant Shards.

You can either complete platinum runs of Grandmaster Nightfall Strikes, make a flawless run in Trials of Osiris, or reach 10,000 reputation with either Zavala, Lord Shaxx, the Drifter, or Saint-14.

Once you’ve gathered everything you need, simply head back to The Monument to Lost Lights to collect the Last Word Hand Cannon. You can now use this weapon to cause some serious pain to your enemies.
