Destiny 2 Season 15 started today, and it introduces the new Lorentz Driver Exotic weapon that Guardians can unlock.

The Season of the Lost is the 15th Destiny 2 season. It starts today, August 25, with the arrival of the 3.3.0 update, and ends on February 22, 2022.

Over the next six months, players can enjoy a slew of new content, including new dungeons, stories, and battle pass items. There are over 25 new and reprised weapons to discover. As well, players can unlock universal ornaments for their armor.

An incredibly strong new Exotic Linear Fusion Rifle is also making its debut. All players can unlock the Lorentz Driver Exotic weapon in a couple of different ways, and it’s available right now.

How to unlock the Lorentz Driver Exotic in Destiny 2

Once again, the latest season of Destiny 2 has adopted the Battle Pass model of seasonal rewards. It includes a free set of tiers, as well as a paid set of tiers that grant bonus materials and items.

Progressing or purchasing the Battle Pass is the only way to get the Destiny 2 Lorentz Driver Exotic weapon. Players who purchase the Battle Pass will be given the new Destiny 2 Lorentz Driver weapon immediately.

Those who choose not to purchase the Battle Pass can still get the Exotic. However, they will have to progress to Battle Pass tier 35.

Seasoned players are already getting their hands on the weapon and have compared it to the Arbalest. Yet, the Destiny 2 Lorentz Driver Exotic is in the Energy Slot and not the Kinetic Slot.

As well, the new weapon gives temporary wallhacks at random, marking enemy players on the HUD. This happens even when the weapon isn’t in the player’s hands. It also causes eliminated players to explode and deal damage to the surrounding area.

The Destiny 2 Lorentz Driver Exotic also has impressive damage output allowing players to one-shot kill. But, since it is a Linear Fusion Rifle, players have to be very accurate with their shots.

There is no doubt that Guardians will be having plenty of fun with this new Exotic weapon during Destiny 2 Season of the Lost.

Destiny 2’s Trial of Osiris has become a staple of Bungie’s sci-fi shooter, thanks to its heated action, and the rewards for November 26 are now available to see.

One of the most popular game modes that the first-person shooter offers is, no doubt, Trials of Osiris, which is the game’s competitive multiplayer playlist that allows Guardians to test their skills against other players.

What are the Trials of Osiris rewards for November 26 in Destiny 2?

The more reputation you can earn in Bungie’s Trials of Osiris, the better quality of rewards you will receive in Destiny 2.

To earn the Flawless Reward, players will need to win seven Trials of Osiris matches without losing a single game.

It’s a tough feat, no doubt, but it’s doable with enough skill, patience, and understanding of the game’s mechanics.

Hopefully, this week’s Trials of Osiris rewards are worth you going after and can be used to make your overall Destiny 2 experience more fruitful and enjoyable!

The Last Word Hand Cannon is an extremely powerful Destiny 2 weapon, and here’s everything you need to know about unlocking it, including the Exotic Cipher and Ascendant Shards locations.

When you hop into Destiny 2, you’ll need to be properly geared up for some challenging battles. The good news is that the game features a wide selection of powerful weapons to choose from.

The Last Word Hand Cannon is an Exotic weapon that boasts a full-auto fire rate and increased hip-fire capabilities. If you want to get your hands on this gun, then this guide has you covered.

How to craft the The Last Word in Destiny 2

You can only get the Destiny 2 Last Word Hand Cannon from the Monument to Lost Lights weapon vault in the Tower. This vendor is located on the far right side of the Courtyard landing zone.

In order to craft the weapon, you’ll need the following materials:

  • 1x Exotic Cipher
  • 125,000 Glimmer
  • 200 Etheric Spiral
  • 1x Ascendant Shard

You can obtain Glimmers easily, and Etheric Spirals are given as rewards for every bounty you complete for Spider at The Tangled Shore. You can find both Exotic Ciphers and the Ascendant Shards prevent more of a challenge.

However, Exotic Ciphers and Ascendant Shards are a bit more difficult to acquire, and we’ll go over everything you need to know about collecting them.

How to collect Destiny 2 Exotic Ciphers

You can obtain Exotic Ciphers by either reaching rank 55 in the current Season Pass or purchasing them from Xur the merchant. You can still receive them as a seasonal rank reward even if you don’t have the Season Pass.

If you’ve already collected a seasonal cipher previously, you’ll need to complete Xur’s Xenology quest to earn another. This requires you to complete 21 strikes, or win matches in the Crucible or Gambit.

How to collect Destiny 2 Ascendant Shards

If you already have the paid Season Pass then you’ll get Ascendant Shards after reaching season ranks 80, 85, and 94. Alternatively, you can also purchase Shards from either Banshee-44 or Ada-1.

Here’s the general cost for each Shard:

  • 10 Enhancement Prisms
  • 100 planetary materials
  • 50,000 Glimmer

It’s worth keeping in mind that the planetary materials required for these Shards are random and change depending on the day. If you’re still on the hunt, then you’ll have a few different options for unlocking Ascendant Shards.

You can either complete platinum runs of Grandmaster Nightfall Strikes, make a flawless run in Trials of Osiris, or reach 10,000 reputation with either Zavala, Lord Shaxx, the Drifter, or Saint-14.

Once you’ve gathered everything you need, simply head back to The Monument to Lost Lights to collect the Last Word Hand Cannon. You can now use this weapon to cause some serious pain to your enemies.
