How to get Destiny 2 Thorn armor set
In celebration of Bungie’s 30th Anniversary, players can unlock the Thorn armor set in Destiny 2, and we have all of the known information for how to do so covered for you.
Destiny 2 has just entered its 15th Season, the Season of the Lost. During this season, Bungie is also celebrating its 30th Anniversary as a developer.
Bungie has chosen to celebrate with its players by holding an anniversary celebration inside Destiny. Players can unlock new weapons, armors, ornaments, and more. And the fan-favorite Gjallarhorn is making its Destiny 2 debut.
In addition to various exclusive items, players can also earn the Destiny 2 Thorn Armor set. This set is for all three classes and gives players a rather wicked look. However, it requires players to explore uncharted territory to get.
How to get Destiny 2 Thorn Armor Set
Not much is known about the Destiny 2 Thorn Armor set yet, other than it releases this December as a part of the Destiny 2 Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack. This is an add-on to the base game that costs $29.99 USD.
The pack gives players access to a new dungeon called the Loot Cave. It is located on the Cosmodrome, where the old loot cave is located. The crown jewel of the Loot Cave is the Gjallarhorn, but there is plenty more inside.
The Destiny 2 Thorn Armor set is located inside the Loot Cave. Bungie’s description of the Loot Cave states, “Spelunk into the unknown, earn the new Thorn armor set, and watch your step as you hunt for lost relics.”
Although we don’t know the exact method of obtaining the Thor armor, we do know it can only be obtained inside the Loot Cave, and we will update this piece with more details when they are revealed by Bungie.
The Loot Cave will open when Bungie’s 30th Anniversary Pack drops on December 7th. Pre-orders for the pack are already available. The dungeon is a three-player experience that will reward players with unimaginable riches.
