BungieVisions of the Traveler are a new type of collectable in Destiny 2’s The Final Shape expansion, and here is where you can find all of them.
If you’re interested in unlocking the Exotic Khvostov Auto Rifle in Destiny 2 The Final Shape, then it’s more than likely you’ll be looking for Visions of the Traveler. There are a total of eight to find, and you’ll get some Triumphs along the way as you locate them.
So, here is where you can find all Visions of the Traveler in Destiny 2 and what to do with them once you find them.
Where to find all Visions of the Traveler in Destiny 2
There are eight Visions of the Traveler spread around the Pale Heart in Destiny 2, and here are their locations:
The Landing
To find the first Vision of the Traveler, start at The Landing’s Transmat zone and immediately turn left. Continue to the edge of the area, and look for a small pool of water underneath a waterfall. The Vision of the Traveler should be in this pool.
The Blooming
From the transmat zone in The Blooming, take the East path toward The Seclusion. When you spot the orange crystal, look up into the dead trees and you should see the Vision. Start climbing on the rocks of a nearby cliff and you can reach it from here.
The Impasse
This Vision in Destiny 2 The Final Shape is actually quite close to the transmat zone in The Impasse. The Vision is hidden in plain sight, just above one of the pillars among the buildings you can see when you land in the zone.
The Lost City
This Vision of the Traveler takes a little more traversing to find:
- Head to Micah-10 and leave the tower through the door on the side of this room.
- You’ll find yourself in a portion of The Lost City that you were in at the beginning of the campaign.
- The rooftops are color-coded to show different paths you can take, you need to look for the red one.
- Jump across the rooftops until you can’t continue forward anymore.
- Look for a small pool of water with a waterfall.
- Jump into this pool to find the next Vision of the Traveler.
The Refraction
From the transmat zone in The Refraction, travel deeper into the area until you reach the crystalline caves. Look over the edge, and you’ll see an opening in the cliff where a creek flows.
Jump down to the roots beneath you, and go through the gap to reach the pool where the Vision is.
The Seclusion
To get to this Vision in Destiny 2, you must complete some of Micah-10’s quests to find the lost Ghosts:
Complete Alone in the Dark until you get sent to Searing Light to clear the Cysts. Continue with the mission until you reach the room just before the boss room – you’ll know you’re in it when you see a massive tree in the middle.
Turn right in this room to find a small hole you can jump into, and once you do, you’ll find the Vision of the Traveler hiding here.
The Divide
Head to the mountain in this area and start climbing the summit. When you reach the top, you’ll spot a satellite dish on the left side of the structure. The Vision is hiding behind this dish.
The Transgression
The last Vision of the Traveler in The Final Shape can be difficult to spot, as it’s in the stormy area of The Transgression. To make it easier, head to the structure where the Paranormal Activity event would take place.
Go through this structure and look for a big dead tree on the left, and the Vision is nestled behind it.
What to do with Visions of the Traveler in Destiny 2
Once you have collected all Visions of the Traveler in Destiny 2, you need to place them on the podiums in The Lost City:
- Go back to the transmat zone in The Lost City.
- Turn left and go under the platform with stairs to find a doorway that leads to another room.
- Place each Vision on a pedestal in this room.
- Open the chest that appears to get the Exotic version of Khvostov.
If you aren’t able to open the chest, do note that you need all Motes of Light and earned the Mote of Primordial Light in order to open it. If you want to know how to do so, you can check out our guide to unlock Khvostov.
If you’re still having some trouble finding the Visions, remember that you can go to each corresponding podium, and a new clue will appear directing you on where to go.
