Breachlight Destiny 2

Here’s how to get the reprised Breachlight in Destiny 2 The Final Shape, including the God Rolls and best Perks for this Sidearm.

The Breachlight is a brutal Sidearm that debuted in Destiny 2 during Season of Dawn, and now it has made its way back to the game in The Final Shape. However, this weapon has been reprised and comes with a new Intrinsic Trait and great Perks that turn it into an outstanding source of Strand damage.

Here’s all you should know about the Breachlight in Destiny 2 The Final Shape, including how to get this weapon and its God Rolls for PvE and PvP.

How to get Breachlight Sidearm in Destiny 2

To get the Breachlight in Destiny 2, you need to obtain Echo Engrams and decode them in the H.E.L.M. through Failsaife. Once you have unlocked this weapon, you can use Focused Decoding to obtain it with the Perks you desire.

You can obtain more Echo Engrams in the various Ritual activities, location chests, Pathfinder rewards, and Lost Sector chests.

Destiny 2 Breachlight God Rolls for PvE and PvP

The Breachlight is a 325 RPM burst fire Sidearm, with moderate damage, but it’s considerably stable and precise. It’s great as a primary source of Darkness damage, ideal for any Prismatic subclass build. This Sidearm has overall balanced stats and a predictable vertical recoil, though its range is limited.

Here are Breachlight’s God Rolls for both PvE and PvP activities:

Breachlight God Rolls for PvE

The Breachlight has access to great Perks for both slots, so here’s the PvE God Roll for this weapon:

  • Barrel: Arrowhead Brake (+18 Recoil control +10 Handling)
  • Magazine: Appended Mag (+5 Magazine ammo)
  • First Row Perk: Demolitionist/Pugilist
  • Second Row Perk: Adrenaline Junkie/Swashbuckler

With these Perks, the Breachlight has access to great utility and boosted damage. You can even opt for a Melee ability-focused build with Pugilist and Swashbuckler, which is ideal for the current Meta Hunter build. A Grenade synergy build with Demolitionist and Adrenaline Junkie is also excellent for the Song of Fire Warlock. Correctly using these Perks can turn this weapon into a discount Traveller’s Chosen.

Combining Pugilist and Adrenaline Junkie fits the hybrid Melee/Grenade builds.

Breachlight God Rolls for PvP

If you want to destroy your opponents in PvP this Breachlight God Roll is what you’re looking for:

  • Barrel: Corkscrew Rifling (+5 Stability, +5 Range, +5 Handling)
  • Magazine: Steady Rounds (-5 Range, +7 Airborne Effectiveness, +15 Stability)
  • First Row Perk: Threat Detector
  • Second Row Perk: Vorpal Weapon

Threat Detector compensates any reload speed reduction for not using one of the curated Magazine Rolls. Vorpal Weapon increases damage to Guardians using Transcendent and their Supers, so it’s a great way to counter them.

This Sidearm has been greatly improved since its past version in Season of Dawn. You can even Empower it to turn your God Roll Perks into Enhanced Perks which greatly boosts its damage and effectiveness.

Its intrinsic Trait “Cast no Shadows” is a discount Grave Robber (gives back ammo to the magazine whenever you cause melee damage). It is one of the reasons why this weapon combines so well with Melee-focused builds.

So there you have it, that’s how you can get a God Roll Breachlight Sidearm in Destiny 2 The Final Shape. For more information about the game, you can check out how to obtain all Prismatic Fragments, or a guide to get the exotic weapons Still Hunt, Microcosm, and Ergo Sum.
