Destiny 2 Wish-Keeper: All Catalysts & how to get them
BungieDestiny 2 Wish-Keeper has multiple Catalysts, and each has to be obtained through different quests and steps. So if you’re wondering how to get all of them as well as what they do, here’s all you need to know.
Destiny 2‘s Season of the Wish added three new exotics and a Catalyst to a previously beloved Hand Canon. While Dragon’s Breath was the headline leading into the season, Wish-Keeper is another standout, and it is shaping up to be a flattering addition to suspend Strand builds.
Like the select past few Exotics in Destiny 2, Wish-Keeper has multiple Catalysts. Four, to be precise, and each of them has to be earned through different quests. Each of these quests wasn’t available right from the start and was launched weekly. Now that all of the quests are live, you can obtain all the Catalysts.
How to get Wish-Keeper Exotic in Destiny 2
First, if you’re wondering how to get Wish-Keeper itself in Destiny 2, it’ll drop after completing Starcrossed Exotic Mission. You’ll unlock the Exotic mission once you’ve completed the Seasonal Quest, Apophasis mission.
Following are Wish-Keeper’s perk in Destiny 2:
- Snareweaver – Precision hits and final blows build energy towards a Snareweaver arrow that can be fired from the hip. On impact, Snareweaver arrows create a pattern of traps that suspend nearby targets.
- Silkbound Slayer – This weapon deals bonus damage to suspended targets. Gain faster draw time for a short duration when you suspend a target from any source or damage a suspended target with this weapon.
Destiny 2 Wish-Keeper all Catalyst & how to get them
Here are all the Catalyst of Wish-Keeper in Destiny 2, including details on how to get them. Of course, you’ll get the Catalyst after you’ve completed the Starcrossed mission first on Legend, and you must play it again on Legend difficulty each week to get every Catalyst.
It is also worth mentioning that the Wish-Keeper’s Intrinsic Perks can be found in the Hidden Chests along the mission. A new chest will be unlocked every week, so keep this in mind when you go for each of the Catalysts.
Catalyst 1: Enduring Snare Refit
- What it does: Snareweaver traps last longer
- How to get it:
- Speak to Mara Sov in H.E.L.M for Exotic Quest, Constellation: Tower.
- Play Starcrossed Exotic Mission on Legend.
- You’ll be tasked to find Celestial Anomaly in the Overland area, which is the area right after the first encounter. The very first “open area” you get.
- Look towards your right just as you’re about to cross a bridge. On the top of one of the mountains with a waterfall, you’ll see a thin glowing light just beside the cherry blossom tree.
- Look on the right edge of the mountain for the way up. Head over the light and interact.
- You’ll see glowing dots in the sky, whip your Wish-Keeper out and shoot it in the order they lit up. After hearing Riven’s Voice, interact with the light once to complete the objective.
- Complete the Starcrossed mission and you’ll see a new chest at the end of the mission that’ll give you the Catalyst.
Catalyst 2: Multi-Threaded Snare Refit
- What it does: Snareweaver traps can suspend more targets.
- How to get it:
- Speak to Mara Sov in H.E.L.M for Exotic Quest, Constellation: Lock.
- Travel to Dreaming City and ride your sparrow into the place pointed below. You’ll come upon a blue bridge and find the same Anomaly on the second mountaintop from your left.
- Interact with the light repeat as you did for first Catalyst.
- Complete the Starcrossed mission on Legend.
In case you’re struggling to get there:
- Head straight from the teleportation point.
- Take the last left turn (just before you hit the rocks).
- Head straight, just a few meters, and again take a left turn as you reach the edge of the cliff.
- Keep following the road and take another left before the courtyard of the Oracle Engine (big towers with blue floors).
Continue straight, and there will be multiple mountains beyond a blue bridge. The light will be on the second mountaintop from your left. As marked in the image below:
Catalyst 3: Vorpal Weapon Refit
- What it does: Increased damage against bosses, vehicles, and Guardians with their Super active.
- How to get it:
- Speak to Mara Sov in H.E.L.M. for the Exotic Quest, Constellation: Pair
- Play Starcrossed Exotic Mission on Legend.
- Continue the mission as usual, complete the second encounter, and after you finish the jumping section, you’ll eventually come upon a Dam’s Gift.
- From there, on the opposite side of Dam’s Gift, there will be a broken wall that allows you to slide through.
- Crawl under it, and you’ll see the same light as in the other two quests previously.
- Interact with it, and rest is the same as you did for other Catalysts.
Catalyst 4: Hatchling Refit
- What it does: Precision final blows or rapidly defeating targets with a non-precision weapon spawns a Threadling at the target’s location.
- How to get it:
- Speak to Mara Sov in H.E.L.M for Exotic Quest, Constellation: Wish
- Head to Dreaming City, and travel to the location marked below.
- In the exact location, there should be a mountain (second one from left), climb it and you’ll see the same light you’ve already seen three times.
- The rest follows the same as other Catalysts quests.
And, here’s what the mountain where the Anomaly hides looks like:
With that, you’ll get all the Catalyst for Wish-Keeper in Destiny 2. For more on the game, check out:
