How to enhance weapon perks in Destiny 2
The weapon you want to enhance in Destiny 2 The Final Shape needs to have an empty enhancement socket. If a weapon does not possess this, you won’t be able to enhance the perks on it.
Here’s how to enhance your weapon in Destiny 2:
- Open the weapon loadout page and press and hold the “Fire” button on the “Weapon Enhancement Socket.”
- To unlock Tier 1 enhancement, you will need to spend 7,500 Glimmer and 20 Enhancement Cores.
- Once you’ve done that, this “Weapon Enhancement Socket” will transform into “Weapon Level Boost Socket.”
- From here onwards, there are two methods that you can follow:
- You can either spend Enhancement Cores and Glimmer to increase your weapon level.
- Alternatively, you can go out in the world and start killing enemies to level your weapon up.
- After you’ve reached a minimum of Level 11, you will be able to unlock Tier 2 enhancement for your weapon. This will cost you 15,000 Glimmer, 1 Ascendant Alloy, and 3 Enhancement Prisms.
- The Tier 2 Enhancement will convert your first Weapon Trait into its enhanced version.
- To convert the second Weapon Trait into its enhanced version, you will have to complete the Tier 3 Enhancement.
- To do so, you will have to level your weapon to Level 17, through the two methods mentioned above. Once you’re at that level, you’ll have to spend 15,000 Glimmer, 1 Ascendant Alloy, and 3 Enhancement Prisms to complete the Tier 3 enhancement.
