How to get Destiny 2 Legacy Collection for free

Destiny 2 Legacy Collection is currently free for a limited time, and once claimed, it’ll be in your library forever. The Collection includes the highest-rated DLC in Destiny 2’s history, so here’s how to play it. 

The latest season of Destiny 2, Season of Wish, is here but it hasn’t really been a good couple of months for Bungie and its flagship MMO shooter. The much-anticipated The Final Shape DLC was delayed following massive layoffs, resulting in the current season having a longer runtime than the previous seasons. 

Outside of these past few months of controversies, the other major frustration for players was the fact that Destiny 2 doesn’t have much “free” content despite being a free-to-play game. But now you can claim massive DLCs, including the acclaimed The Witch Queen, for no extra cost. 

Here’s how you can play Destiny 2 Legacy Collection for free. 

How to claim Destiny 2 Legacy Collection for free

Destiny 2 Legacy Collection is free as part of the Holiday Sale on the Epic Games Store. This means that the offer is only available to PC players. To claim Destiny 2 Legacy Collection, just follow the four simple steps: 

1. Head to Free Games page for Epic Games Holiday Sales.
2. Select Destiny 2 Legacy Collection.
3. Click on “Get.”
4. Login (or create) your Epic Game account and the game will be added to your Epic Games library. 

Destiny 2 Legacy Collection includes The Witch Queen, Beyond Light, and Shadowkeep. The Collection is only available until December 20, 2023, so you’ll need to act fast.

Since Destiny 2 does not have cross-platform support, all this content will only be available through the Epic Games Store. Destiny 2 does have cross-save, so your characters will carry over, but anything locked behind DLCs will not be available.
