How to get Legendary Bottom Dollar Hand Cannon In Destiny 2 Season Of The Chosen
The Bottom Dollar Hand Cannon is one of many new weapons that Destiny 2’s Season of the Chosen has brought. Follow our simple guide and you too can wield this powerful pistol.
One of Destiny 2’s newest weapons boasts some tremendous firepower and is secretly one of the best additions to the sci-fi shooter. Season of the Chosen has already seen the inclusion of Dead Man’s Tale, Palindrome, and Ticcu’s Divination amongst others, but Bottom Dollar could top the lot.
Unfortunately, Bottom Dollar’s desirability comes at the expense of being very rare and at the mercy of a random number generator. This guide does not provide a guaranteed way of getting the Bottom Dollar Hand Cannon because that just isn’t possible for the time being. However, we will show you what you’ll need to do to give yourself the best chance of earning one.
Where to obtain the Bottom Dollar Hand Cannon in Destiny 2
Unlike other popular weapons and Exotics, the Bottom Dollar Hand Cannon’s availability is a lot more restricted and requires considerable effort.
As of writing, the only known method of procuring the gun is by playing numerous Gambit matches. Now, the positive thing to note is that it doesn’t seem to matter if you win or not, you just need to ensure you see the match through to its conclusion.
The weapon is tucked away in the mode’s loot pool, and there’s a chance you’ll be rewarded with it after a fully completed game. Unfortunately, there’s no way to say for certain how many matches it will take for it to drop.
Increase Gambit matches drop rate in Destiny 2
One potential way to boost the percentage of the drop is to ensure you have the Gambit Prosperity mod. By having this equipped you will increase your chances of acquiring additional legendary gear at the end of a match.
One of the reasons Bottom Dollar isn’t an easy weapon to get is because of the perk possibilities that can make it an absolute monster of a weapon – especially in PvP. It fires 120 rounds per minute, uses an element, and can be greatly customized to however you want it.
Whilst it sucks that the Bottom Dollar is a random drop, know that if you do manage to get one, you’ve got one heck of a weapon on your hands.
