Where to find all Prismatic Fragments in Destiny 2 The Final Shape
BungieThe Final Shape has arrived in Destiny 2, and with it, players can find Prismatic Fragments to unlock powerful abilities. So, here is everything you need to know about Prismatic Fragments, including where to find them.
Destiny 2 The Finals Shape’s biggest change is the Prismatic buildcrafting subclass. It lets players wield all of the five elements of damage at once, and it’s quite flexible with a lot of Aspects and Fragments to choose from.
There are 21 Prismatic Fragments to choose from, and not all of them are easy to find. So, here are the locations for all Prismatic Fragments.
All Prismatic Fragment locations in Destiny 2
You get five Prismatic Fragments in Destiny 2 when you unlock the Prismatic subclass, and another three as you play through the campaign. The remaining 13, however, have to be found elsewhere:

In total, you can find 11 Prismatic Fragments in Destiny 2 The Final Shape campaign:

Destiny 2 Prismatic Fragments in Pale Heart
Five more Prismatic Fragments can be found in Pale Heart in Destiny 2, but they are hidden behind challenges you need to complete.
Command
- Location: Inside the Cosmodrome wall in The Divide, and find a frozen room guarded by a Shrieker and some Acolytes.
- Challenge: Use a hidden Scorch Cannon to destroy ice clusters and use the elemental orbs in nearby generators to get exactly 10 points of energy. The enemies that spawn have the key to the chest.
Defiance
- Location: In The Transgression, in a cave with purple crystal next to an open area with a large tree.
- Challenge: Destroy every Taken Eye in the cave without dying three times, then kill the Tormentor miniboss.
Grace
- Location: West of the landing zone in The Lost City, in an empty building.
- Challenge: Defeat three Attendant and a Tormentor to find the key that unlocks the chest.
Justice
- Location: Follow the Awoken Tunnel near The Landing spawn point in The Refraction. The chest is in a small Awoken chamber.
- Challenge: Deposit three Solar Crystals in the brazier that match the Hive rune you get the Solar Crystal from. Defeat a group of enemies that spawn after this, and the chest will unlock.
Mending
- Location: In The Lost City Outskirts (West of the Lost City).
- Challenge: Find four dormant Ghost shells between the courtyard and the shore. Once you have collected them all, stand on the plate next to the Prismatic chest on the shore.
Memories of Light Prismatic Fragments in Destiny 2
You need to unlock three Memories of Light in Destiny 2 to find the next three Prismatic Fragments, Awakening, Dominance, and Generosity.
BungieAwakening
To get Facet of Awakening, you need Memory: Refractions of Light. To unlock the Memory, you need to find Vestiges of Light.
This is a kind of currency you can get from Micah-10’s Alone in the Dark questline. Defeat enemies while you have this quest active, and you should get enough Vestiges of Light to forge the memory.
Once you have it, go South in The Refraction and look for a small collection of trees. Climb to the top of these trees, and the Prismatic Chest should be here.
Dominance
Facet of Dominance can be found once unlock Memory: Seclusion of Light by completing the Alone in the Dark questline you get from Micah-10. It’s important to note that the Memory you get is random, so you may need to do this a few times to get the one you need.
Once you have it, go to The Seclusion and look for a waterfall near the North of this area. The Prismatic Chest should be on the right side of the waterfall when you climb up.
Generosity
To find Facet of Generosity, you need to unlock Memory: Blooming of Light. Like Seclusion of Light, complete Alone in the Dark to get Vestiges of Light and unlock Memory: Blooming of Light.
Once you have it, head to The Blooming and go to the South-West corner of the Traveler tree. The Prismatic chest should be along the roots of the tree.
Memories of Dark Prismatic Fragments in Destiny 2
To get the Prismatic Fragments here, you need to first unlock three Memories of Dark. Then you can find Facet of Honor and Facet of Solitude.
Honor
Before you find Facet of Honor, you need to unlock Memory: Divisive Darkness. This is unlocked once you have found five Vestiges of Darkness. You can find these by cleaning corrupted chests in the Pale Heart.
Once you have Memory: Divisive Darkness, track it on your map, and it will lead you to The Divide. From here, get to the top of the mountain and look for the Cosmodrome in the distance. Look down from a sloped wall, and locate the Prismatic chest on a platform below.
Solitude
Facet of Solitude can be found after you’ve got Memory: Impassive Darkness. This Memory can be unlocked by completing the Stitching event on five Pale Heart chests. Once you have it, go North-East in The Impasse and look down from the corner next to the out-of-bounds zone to find the Prismatic Chest.
