How to play the Chain Lightning build in Diablo 4
The key to Chain Lightning Sorcerer is focusing on casting Chain Lightning and forming Crackling Energy Orbs to refresh your Mana pool. Both the Invigorating Conduit and Overflow Energy will help manage Mana efficiently and reduce cooldowns.
The main objective of the Chain Lightning Sorcerer rotation is to build extra Crit chance through Spark while being able to reposition through Teleport. Using Ice Armor will help you protect yourself against groups of enemies, and casting Frost Nova will let you freeze them to strike them down with Unstable Currents.
Essentially, the rotation you need to focus on is Spark > Chain Lightning > Frost Nova > Ice Armor > Teleport > Unstable Currents.

How to play Firewall Sorcerer
Firewall Sorcerer is all about building walls of fire to funnel enemies to your desired location and reigning down fire on them. It’s really important that you start your rotation with Ice Armor and Flame Shield, though, because you are quite squishy and you don’t want to be caught out before you can land your attacks.
Once you’re ready, you need to Teleport in and start laying down your Firewall as enemies congregate on you. It’s important to gather them as much as possible so your attacks can do maximum damage. Frost Nova is a great option here to slow down the mobs and get them in position to run into your Firewall.
Here are a few tips to keep in mind:
- Keep Ice Armor up at all times for survivability.
- Spam Firewall as often as possible, as mana should not be an issue with this build.
- Make sure you survey the area properly before you Teleport.
- Frost Nova is your most important ability for crowd control and to properly utilize Firewall.
