“Crazy” Diablo 4 trick makes farming Mythic Uniques a breeze in Season 5

Diablo 4 streamer Rob2628 has found a brand-new method to use the boosted Mythic Unique drop rates and farm them continuously in Season 5. Within only a few minutes, he managed to get multiple Mythic Uniques from the boss run.

Season 5 kicked off on August 6, and there has already been so much going on, from useful bugs to XP glitches. And now, Rob2628 has come forward with another overpowered mechanic to make Mythic Unique farming easier than ever.

While fighting Tormented Lord Zir in the Eternal Realm, he managed to bag two Mythic Uniques within a few minutes, proving that the buff to Mythic drop rate is no joke.

For context, Blizzard significantly increased the Mythic Unique drop rates from Tormented bosses in Season 5. After the latest update, there’s now a staggering 7.5% chance to get a Mythic Unique from Tormented Echoes.

Rob2628 managed to pull the Harlequin Crest, one of the rarest items in the game from the Tormented Echo of Lord Zir fight, and farming these bosses seems to be the fastest way to get the Uber Unique you want.

It’s not only Lord Zir who can be farmed for this as any Tormented Echo boss should work. For example, you can summon the mats for fighting Varshan considerably early in your playthrough, so if you stumble upon a single Stygian Stone, you can fight him and try your luck too.

With how powerful this Mythic Unique farm is, players are worried that Blizzard will nerf it before they get a chance to take advantage of it.

Blizzard have always been quick to nerf game-breaking bugs or mechanics in Diablo 4, and there’s a chance that they might address this too. However, they have not said anything about this farming method yet, so players can probably still use this strategy to get Uber Uniques.
