Diablo 4 player “beats the game” by getting impossibly rare drop
BlizzardFollowing the itemization overhaul in Diablo 4 Season 4, gear with Greater Affixes have become the most coveted items in the game. One player recently received an Uber Unique with four Greater Affixes, which is one of the rarest drops in the game.
Given how RNG driven the game is, getting a piece of gear with the perfect stat rolls is extremely difficult, and players who get such items consider themselves to be very lucky.
Something similar happened with Glitchsbrew, who took to Reddit to showcase their Harlequin Crest (Shacko) with four Greater Affixes. The rolls that they got on the armor piece were the ones that are important to almost every build in the game right now.
Considering how rare this drop is, the OP described it as if they had beaten the game, and the community rallied to congratulate them on their luck.
One player said, “You have become a God,” while another player added, “The best part is that you don’t have to worry about tempering or enchanting.”
There are two basic ways to get Uber Uniques in Diablo 4; you can either get them by defeating monsters or target farming them in dungeons, or you can craft them with Resplendent Sparks. However, neither of these methods can guarantee that you’ll receive even one Greater Affix on the item.
A player stated, “I crafted 2 Shackos and one Starless Skies. My second Shacko has GA cooldown and Starless has GA lucky hit chance. None of my other 10 Uber drops or so had a GA.”
There’s also an active in-game trading market in Diablo 4, and such items are sold for ridiculously high prices. Wondering about the price, one player said, “Probably worth 1 trillion [Gold] at least.”
Apart from these rare drops players are also excited that they can create a Peacemaker cosplay in Diablo 4, and have expressed that the Strongholds need an overhaul badly.
