Diablo 4 introduced a new dungeon type in Season 3 called Vaults, and they can be a bit confusing at first. Players get rewards once they have completed them, and one shared a possible way to get the best rewards.

Diablo 4 Season 3 has been off to a rocky start, but despite the issues players have found in the new update, they are still giving their all to explore everything the season has to offer

One of the new additions to Season 3 are Vaults, which are a new type of dungeon in the game. After entering these Vaults, players can exchange a Pearl of Warding for three stacks of Zoltun’s Warding at the statue of Zoltun Kulle.

This buff determines the reward players get from the Wardwoven Chest after successfully completing a run. The challenge is that players need at least one stack of Zoltun’s Warding to open the chest.

One player found a way to work around this, though, revealing a “trick” to get the best possible rewards once you complete a Vault.

In a post on Reddit, ‘Unforgiven817’ said, “The trick to succeeding at Zoltun Khul Vaults is to only get his buff after you clear the dungeon of all mobs, right before the last arena room.”

“Clear all the mobs, run back, get your buff (3 points for 1 pearl), carefully creep back easily past all traps since there’s no mobs in your way, then enter the ‘arena’ room,” they explained. “Stand right at the door and kill with your robot set up to do ranged damage.”

Essentially, the OP is suggesting that players wait to offer their Pearl at the Zoltun Statue and clear out the entire Vault from mobs and traps first (except the last arena room). Then, once you have done so, you can go back and get the buff. Stand at the door of the last room and wait for your pet do all the work, enter, and grab your rewards.

This method may make it a bit trickier to navigate the Constructs and traps in each Vault, but it could be worth it for the rewards you get at the end.

Players in the comments were not so much occupied with the tip as they were about the fact that they feel Vaults are badly designed. “Who in their right mind designed a mechanic that people are recommending you skip and then have to slowly trundle your gimped toon back to the beginning, then gimp walk it back, then finish the objective?” one player commented.

Diablo 4 Season 3 has not received much positive feedback, but players are trying to play through the content and share tips for better experiences as they progress in the game. We will keep you updated with any changes in upcoming patches.
