Diablo 4 player shares tips to make hated Seneschal Companions “useful”
Blizzard EntertainmentDiablo 4 Season 3 introduced Seneschal Companions, but players have not been impressed with their impact on the game. However, there are some combos that can make your pet even better.
Diablo 4’s Season of the Construct brought Seneschal Companions to the game for players to level up and use as extra attacking and healing pets. Despite their potential, though, players have been complaining that they don’t make much of an impact.
As a result, some players have not even paid much attention to leveling their pets. This becomes an issue when some quest storylines directly tie into this leveling, and for some players, it has made the new season a tedious experience.
One Diablo 4 fan, though, has shared some combinations of skills that they believe could solve this issue. In a post on Reddit, ‘Failroth’ shared a list of skills that they have found made the Seneschal Companion a little better to play with.
By using a certain combination of Governing and Tuning stones, you can customize your Seneschal Companion to make attack and support plays. Some of the combinations the OP included were:
- “Tempest + Arcing + Efficiency: Up to 15% increased Crit Rate for you on the targets.”
- “Tempest + Arcing + Breaking: Reliable Vulnerable application.”
- “Protect/Adrenaline + Initiative: The senechal teleports to you before using the ability, this can allow it to keep up with you a little better (but not much).”
- “Flash of Adrenaline + Tactical + Duration + Genesis: Theoretically 100% uptime on a 50%(x) damage buff.”
The OP shared the list in an effort to help players have a better understanding of Seneschal Companions, and Diablo 4 players in the comments shared their own tips in the comments. “Protect/Tactical/Duration allows you to benefit from ‘X dmg while barrier’ pretty much all the time. Focus fire is also nice since it can proc my fireball enchant,” one fan commented.
There are a few ways that players can make their Seneschal Companions more impactful, and some are saying that they just need to figure things out before complaining about the season more.
“With all the complaining this season from the select minority, I guess it’s because they don’t take the time to figure stuff like this out. This is a pretty massive beastly buff to have for your character in the endgame,” one player commented.
