Diablo 4 player suggests adding The Butcher to Helltides but the community’s split
Blizzard EntertainmentDiablo 4 players have been discussing ways to improve Helltides in the game for quite a while now, as one of them has suggested adding The Butcher into it. Although some seem to agree, it seems like the suggestion has split the community.
Diablo 4 Season 2 has been the major subject of discussion in the community since its release back on October 17. Although the devs have fixed several problems in the game, many players are still pointing out several new issues such as the Helltides grind.
This is why many players have stated their opinions on the matter and have regularly suggested several solutions to ease up Helltides and make it fun in the game. However, one of the suggestions was to include The Butcher in Helltides, and the community has been split over the idea.
Diablo 4 player ‘os13467’ suggested that “adding the butcher into Helltides” will surely “spice things up.” They said that combining the “randomness” of The Butcher with the “consequence” of dying will make it more fun in Diablo 4 Season 2.
Many players seem to have agreed with the OP as they claimed that adding an “Uber Butcher” would definitely make things more fun during Helltides. Plus, it would certainly be helpful in solving the Living Steel drop rate issue in Diablo 4 if the boss drops it after it’s defeated.
Although this original idea has received several supportive shouts, many seem to disagree with the OP. Players who are against this notion feel that “slapping some random existing mini-boss” into Helltides is not the solution to make it fun.
Some players also feel that adding The Butcher is not worth it because “helltides are annoying enough” already as having the risk of dying and losing all the hard-earned Cinders is not worth it. They feel that there is “no need for a butcher to make it worse” in Diablo 4 Season 2.
Although there is no confirmation yet from the devs end regarding the Helltides issue, after so many complaints recently, don’t be surprised to see the upcoming patch address this issue in detail.
