Diablo 4 players beg devs to fix “boring” Uber boss summoning grind

Diablo 4 players are extremely unhappy with the Uber boss grind in the game as they are tired of grinding summoning mats for each and every boss.

Diablo 4 Season 3 has received some mixed reviews from players since release, contrary to Season 2’s massive success, but the devs have been quite involved in introducing new content into the game. With XP gains being faster than ever, some players have already reached the endgame of Diablo 4.

Reaching the endgame of Diablo 4 involves taking on some challenging boss fights against Uber enemies and gaining their valuable loot in the process. However, summoning them requires gathering a bunch of hard-to-get materials that involve some consistent grinding and even multiplayer gameplay.

Players are seemingly quite fed up with this grind as Reddit user ‘hanckerchiff’ suggested that the devs “remove summoning mats already” from the game. The OP “specifically” focussed on Duriel as the boss involves some of the longest grinds in ARPG history to be summoned.

Summoning Uber bosses has always been considered a chore by most players as gathering a bunch of materials to fight them once is not at all preferred by the majority. The OP also listed several pros of removing this grind completely in Diablo 4.

They claimed that there would be “no more duped materials/people trying to dupe the materials” and considered it to be one of the biggest benefits if the devs decided to remove this grind. They even claimed that solo players would be “happy” as they would be able to join a group to fight the bosses.

Other players agreed with the OP as well as they said: “Thank you, I have nothing to add” while being on the same page with the proposition. “Yes. the whole boss mats summoning idea is boring useless padding,” argued one player.

Blizzard are yet to address this issue, however, with the number of people agreeing with the OP, don’t be surprised to see the devs to look into the issue in the upcoming days.
